"When we were suggested to write the lyrics for 9th anniversary single, I couldn't have the courage to write it.... I couldn't think how to describe the long time, 9 years of liking one singer. I felt sorry to tackle it with shallow understanding. It wasn't just me, but none of us could volunteer ourselves....
Then, for the first time, I went to a Girls' Generation concert, to Tiffany's concert. When we have those long rehearsals to have the perfect performance, we would say to ourselves, "man I would love to go to a Girls' Generation concert. Go, perform, I wanna watch"
When I arrived at Tiffany's stage, I got a pink fanlight. To wave!! It was awkward, I didn't know what direction to shake it, how hard I need to wave it, how long I need to do it...do I have to stop during ballads? Do I need to turn it off like this or that? It was so awkward that I needed to watch other fans and how they do it... When I saw the faces of the fans...when I was on stage, were they shining that bright, just like they are right now?? To their shining eyes, was I that beautiful? For the past 9 years, if I knew they looked at us like I do now....
When I saw you at Tiffany's concert, I now understand how you feel just a little. Ah, do the Tiffany on stage know I will stay here forever, cheering? Even if the hard days come, because we know happier days will come for longer, we cannot let go of each other...
To feel each other without talking...
To wonder how they are doing...to wish for their happiness even though we can't see each other...
Even when sometimes, when they can't follow my passion, I'll stay here and wait for them...
