Chapter 13: The Pool Party and Jace's Decision

This is still a collab with jaceyybooo. This is like The best collab I have ever done. This chapter might be a little happy and sad but I hope you like it.

Kayla's POV
I was at the mall.. I bought a new pair of shoes and a cute new outfit .. I couldn't resist it was so cute.

I was walking towards another store when I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I pulled it out and saw I had a message from a phone number I didn't recognize but then I realized it was Jace's number

The conversation

Jace 😒: Hey, it's Jace... I'm having a pool party and I want you to come. It'll be fun. It's starts at 4:30

I didn't reply... I thought: Well maybe I'll go a party is always fun.. The only bad thing is it's Jace's party. I looked at the time it was 3:45.

I then headed home to get ready for the party. I put on my blue bathing suit which was a 2 piece, then I put on a white sundress and some sandals, I put my hair in a side braid. Outfit shown above).

I started heading over to Jace's house. I saw a lot of people were there.. I walked into his house.. And went up to his pool area where everyone was.. I saw Jace and he was talking to Diana.

I thought" Of course that's why he invited me....

Jace's POV

I saw Kayla walk through the door.. She looked really pretty. I had some news to tell her....

I said" Kayla.. Come over here". She walked over to me.

Kayla asked" What do you want? Why did you want me to come to this party?".

Jace said" Because... Just because your not my friend doesn't mean I'm not yours".

Kayla rolled her eyes and glared at Diana...

I looked at Diana and turned to her and said" Oh, I made my decision".

Kayla looked at me very very curiously.

I lightly grabbed Diana's hand and looked at her and smiled and I asked" Diana? Will you go out with me?".

Diana had the biggest smile on her face" Yes, I will go out with you Jace". I hugged Diana and she hugged me back and I kissed Diana right in front of Kayla. And Diana actually kissed me back.

Kayla looked at Diana madly and said" I hope your freaking happy, you ruined my happiness".

Diana grinned and evilly said" Oh, I am".

Kayla then turned around and left the party...

I went to go find her. I found her walking back home and I said" Wait... Can we still be best friends? I don't wanna lose you".

Kayla turned around and answered" Fine whatever". She then turned back around and walked home....

Things are complicated, I could tell Kayla was hurt. But I made my choice..
