Kayla's POV
I sat there on my bed eating breakfast and scrolling through Instagram, thinking about Jace. He made me so happy.

I sat up and grabbed my crutches, I made my way to my closet, I picked out a simple yet cute outfit to wear. I got dressed then put my hair in a side braid and then I texted Jace.

Kayla 💖: Good morning ❤️

No answer...

I looked at the clock, it was almost 10am. He would have texted me by now.

I thought: Maybe He's still sleeping.

I decided to go to the park, I hopped downstairs carefully and told my dad where I was going. I put in my headphones as I made my way to the park.

I arrived at that park..... I saw something I didn't wanna see...... Jace was kissing Diana!!

I hopped quickly over to them and madly asked" Wh-What are you doing?".

Jace saw me and his eyes grew wide" Kayla... It's not what it looks like".

I said" Really? Because it looks like your cheating on me with my best friend". I turned around and left quickly..

Jace yelled" Kayla.. Wait".

I made my way home... I felt so broken. I thought he figured out his feelings.....

As I was going upstairs to my room, I tripped over a step... I just sat there and started crying....

I heard a knock on my front door... I crawled my way upstairs to my bedroom and locked my bedroom door.... I didn't even bother to answer the front door.

I then heard a knock on my bedroom door, it was Jace...

Jace said" Kayla... Please let me explain..".

After he kept begging, I sighed and crawled over and unlocked my door and opened it.

Jace explained" It wasn't what it looked like.. She was kissing me... I tried to pull away but I couldn't".

I studied his face carefully, he looked like he was really sorry..

I nodded" Okay, I believe you".

Jace came over and hugged me" I wouldn't cheat on you I promise".

I hugged him back" I'm sorry for not letting you explain".

He replied" it's okay. I understand". He kissed my cheek.

I started blushing a little" Your so cute".

Jace asked" Do you wanna go get something to eat".

I answered" Sure". He helped me up, we made our way out of my house. I hopped kinda quickly to keep up with him. We headed to a burger restaurant and ate there.

He made me me happy and so did food.

Jace's POV

As Kayla and I were heading home, we saw Diana. She was talking to this boy, it looked like she was flirting with him. I don't know why, but I got a little mad looking at them.

I asked Kayla" Who's the boy Diana's with?".

She stopped and looked" Umm.. I don't know, I haven't seen him before".

It made me mad, the thought of Diana flirting with another boy... Am I jealous? No I can't be I'm dating Kayla.

Is it possible that I still like Diana??. I didn't wanna leave Kayla.... Ughh..... My feelings just keep getting more and more confusing.
