Kayla's POV
I woke up and stretched, I looked at the time it was 11:30. I realized I was supposed to meet Jace at the park at 12:00. I sat up on the side of my bed and grabbed my crutches and went and put on some new clothes. (outfit shown above)..

It was really hard to rush on crutches, I put my phone in my pocket and slowly made my made downstairs trying not to hurt myself or fall.

I said to my dad" I'm going to the park to meet Jace".

My dad didn't even pay attention. I hopped on my crutches as fast as I could to the park.. I saw Jace waiting for me...

He came up to me and said" There you are".

I laughed" Sorry I slept in late and it's hard to be quick on crutches".

Jace laughed a little and asked" Do you want me to carry you again?".

I shook my head" Noo, you don't have to.. I will be fine".

Jace pouted and playfully poked me" You know I don't mind".

I nodded" I know". We started making our way around the park... Hanging out with him was fun...

Jace's POV
Kayla understood me better than anyone, she's soo amazing. If only she knew.. We went to go get some ice cream when I saw Diana.. She was talking to some boy, she was laughing with him and it wasn't her cousin.

Kayla saw and said" What... Is she doing?".

I got mad and asked" Kayla? Can you do something for me?".

Kayla looked at me and said" Sure..". I whispered the plan in her ear...

She nodded and said" Only because your my best friend".

I waited until Diana was looking over at Kayla and I then... I quickly stepped closer to Kayla and kissed her... But Kayla didn't kiss me back...  Why didn't she kiss me back??.

I pulled away and Diana saw me kiss Kayla and she stomped very madly over to me and angrily said" What are you doing?!?!!?".

I said" Showing you what jealously feels like".

Diana snapped" Jace... That boy I was talking to is my best friend".

I madly said" What?!?. I didn't know". I threw my arms up in defense.

Diana stepped closer to me and made Kayla's crutches lose balance on purpose, and Kayla fell to the ground and then Diana said to me" That doesn't give you the right to kiss Kayla, MY BEST FRIEND". Then Diana ran away..

Kayla yelled at Diana" WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?!? IT WASN'T MY FAULT, YOU DIDNT HAVE TO PUSH ME".

I helped Kayla up and asked" Are you okay?".

Kayla nodded" She had no right to push me down".

I agreed" I know, she's mad at me, I'll help you get home".

Kayla kind of sadly said" Thanks, but it's fine.. You really should go fix things with your girlfriend. Don't worry about me". I watched as Kayla slowly hopped away on her crutches...

I sighed and went home... And tried to call and text Diana... But she wouldn't answer me.....

My life is so complicated......
