Jace's POV..
I spent the next few days hanging out with Diana while Kayla was there of course... Diana was unique.... I got to know mostly everything I wanted to know.. She had a cute smile... Was this girl starting to mean something to me??.

I walked home with Kayla. She was acting different, I don't know why.... I walked her to her front door..

I sweetly said" I'll see you tomorrow". I kissed her cheek. All she did was turn around and go inside her house. Without saying anything to me...
I texted her when i got inside my house

The conversation

Jace❤️: Are you okay??

Kayla 💖: Yup... Just fine...

Jace ❤️: I know when your lying just by the way you typed that

Kayla 💖: IM FINE!!!!

I thought: She's mad about something....
I layed down on my bed and fell asleep.. I was thinking bout Diana and Kayla.

The next day Kayla was acting even weirder, she wouldn't talk to me or Diana.
Diana and I managed conversation though..

That night, I snuck up to Kayla's room. And knocked on her window.. Like usual..

When she opened the window I asked" Can we talk please?".

She nodded and we walked to the park. I sat down on a bench and she sat down next to me.

Kayla looked at me and asked" What's up?

I hesitated to speak.. I couldn't believe I was saying this" I... I wanna be just friends".

The look I saw on her face was so sad, she looked crushed...

She raised her voice and it cracked while she spoke" What did I do wrong?".

I looked at her and tried to grab her hand but she pulled away and I said" Kayla you didn't do anything wrong...".

I could tell she was trying not to break down in front of me..

She sadly asked" Then?!? What is it?!?". I looked at her teary eyes, I felt bad..

I spoke" I like someone else". I saw her break even more. I moved closer to her.

She then yelled " NO! STAY AWAY FROM MEE, I TRUSTED YOU AND YOU LIED... YOU TOLD ME THAT YOU LOVED ME, STAY AWAY FROM ME..

I said her name" Kayla...".

She yelled 3 words I didn't wanna hear" I HATE YOU". She then ran away..... I felt so bad.

I think I lost my best friend.....
