Jace's POV
I was so mad at Kayla, because of her Diana got hit by a car... I watched as the ambulance came and rushed Diana to the hospital. I ran home and told my mom what happened...

I felt kind of bad for yelling at Kayla... I ran over to her house to apologize.. I knocked on her door... her dad answered it.. He looked like he had been crying.

Kayla's dad sadly said" Hi.. Jace. What can I do for you?".

I answered" Can I see Kayla please?".

Her father looked down at the ground and then back up at me" I'm sorry, but Kayla's unconscious".

My eyes widened" What?!? Please let me see her".

Kayla's dad nodded and I pushed past him, and went up to Kayla's room where i saw her.. She was unconscious.. She had bloody arms.. The blood was dried up

I kneeled down next to her and thought: Why would you try to kill yourself??

I shook her lightly trying to wake her up, she wouldn't wake up...

I softly said" Please Kayla, wake up.. Im sorry".

I sat there, holding her in my arms. After 10 minutes I felt movement... I looked down and Kayla was looking up at me...

Kayla lightly said my name" Jace..".

I hugged her tightly" Why would you be stupid and try and kill yourself?".

Kayla shrugged" Diana getting hit by a car is my fault.. I thought nobody would care if I died". Tears started running down her face

I comforted her" I need you here, I would care very much... I wouldn't be me without you". I hugged her even tighter

Kayla looked up at me and asked" Can we go see Diana?".

I nodded and helped Kayla stand up and I handed her her crutches, I helped her wash the blood of her arms and wrap her arms in elastic wrap.

I asked" Can I just carry you?". She nodded as she almost passed out. I carried her on my back all the way to the hospital.

I asked the nurse what room Diana was in...

The nurse said" Room 252, 3rd floor".

I carried Kayla on my back all the way up to Diana's room, we walked into Diana's room, I set Kayla down in a chair and sat down beside her.

Kayla started crying" I'm sorry Diana, it wasn't my choice to kiss Jace... Cassadee and I were just messing around".

I hugged her" It's okay". I kissed Diana's forehead and she started to wake up..

Diana looked at Kayla and I and asked the question I didn't wanna hear" Who are you?".

She didn't remember us.... Her best friends..
