Kayla's POV....
After Jace and I kissed yesterday.. He looked at me really weird afterwards... Maybe because I didn't kiss back.. I couldn't kiss him back, it wasn't right. I sat on the couch watching spongebob, I checked my and had a message from Diana..
The conversation
Diana💚💖:Hey, Can we talk?

Kayla 💖👑: Why? I'm mad at you, for pushing me yesterday..

Diana 💚💖: I wanna talk to you about yesterday.

Kayla 💖👑: Fine, I'm on my way over.

I grabbed my phone and crutches and went over to Diana's house, we took a walk at the park...

Diana apologized" I'm sorry for pushing you yesterday, I got mad when I saw him kissing you".

I answered" It wasn't even a kiss, he kissed me but I didn't kiss him back".

Diana said" I know, please forgive me Kayla". She hugged me.

I hugged her back" I forgive you". We then see Diana's best friend Brian at the park, he saw Diana and came up and kissed her....

I dropped my crutches and fell down on the grass and texted Jace..

Kayla 💖👑: I'm at the park, Diana's best friend Brian is kissing her.....
Jace❤️: WHAAATT??!? ON MY WAY!!

I watched as Diana pushed Brian away....
Jace came 5 minutes later.... You wouldn't believe what happened..

Jace walked up to Brian and madly asked" Why are you KISSING my girlfriend?!?".

Before Jace got a reply Jace punched the guy in the face, then Jace got punched in the face and fell to the ground. The boy Brian then just ran away.

Diana started crying and I just sat there on the grass in fear.....

I saw Jace's face dripping with blood... Diana did too..

I scooted carefully over to Jace and asked" Are you gonna be Okay?".

Jace nodded" I'll be fine". I looked at Diana....

Jace asked" Diana? Did you purposely want this to happen?".

Diana said" No. Jace I swear".

Jace said" I didn't know that me kissing Kayla, would make you act this way...".

Diana snapped" I didn't want any of this to happen".

Jace got up and helped me up, I grabbed my crutches and Jace said" Come on Kayla". We left Diana just standing there....

Jace and I started making our way home and Jace asked" Kayla? Can I ask you something?".

I looked at him and answered" Sure... Anything".

Jace curiously asked me" Why didn't you kiss me back yesterday when I kissed you?".

I didn't know what I was supposed to say... So I said" I didn't think it was right".

Jace said" I know how you feel about me, you can't hide it from me..".

My face turned red.... We made our way to my front door, I stopped and turned to face him...

I sighed" I didn't wanna make things awkward".

Jace said" I know...But.. I don't want you to fight back your feelings okay?". I nodded, He was standing closely in front of me.. He stepped closer to me, I backed away from him as much as I could but I hit the wall of my house.

I hesitated as he kept coming closer" J-Jace".

Jace whispered" Stop moving away from me".

He moved closer, he was inches away from my lips... my heart started beating really fast, he had such a big effect on me. Jace slow started leaning in, I really wanted to kiss him. I didn't move at all. Soon I felt his soft lips touch mine lightly.

I knew it was wrong but I didn't care all that mattered was this moment. I kissed him back, it was sweet and passionate. My arms found my way around his neck and his arms wrapped around my waist. Everything felt perfect.

Jace pulled away after a minute, he was out of breath just like I was, he said" Don't tell Diana".

I replied" Nope, not even going to".

Jace hugged me and whispered" Goodnight Kayla".

I softly said" Goodnight Jace".

I hopped my way in inside and closed my front door. I sank to the floor with a small smile on my face...

Diana wasn't going to know..

Tonight was perfect...
