Chapter 12: The Long Lost best friend

Kayla's POV

I opened my eyes and looked around, I realized I wasn't in my bed. I must have fell off my bed last night onto the floor. I sat up and stretched. I looked at my alarm clock it was 8:00am. I got up and grabbed my phone, I checked it and Jace hadn't texted me yet.

I headed downstairs, I went into the kitchen and made me some waffles, My dad was still asleep. Afterwards I headed over to the couch and watched some TV. I heard my phone go off, I checked it and I had a text message from Jace.

The conversation

Jace ❤️Good morning cutie

Kayla 💖Morning dork, Do you wanna go to the mall with me?

Jace ❤️: I can't, I have to go film Henry Danger today.

Kayla 💖: Awe okay...

Jace <3: I'll come see you afterwards though

Kayla <3: Yay!

I decided to go upstairs and get dressed to go to the mall, My outfit was a pair of denim blue skinny jeans and a black 5SOS T shirt. I put on some navy blue Keds.  I put my long dark brown hair in a side braid and put in some simple makeup: which was concealer, foundation,  and a light skin colored eyeshadow and mascara.

I went back downstairs and left my house to head to the mall..

I walked into the mall... And walked into a cute store. I bought this really cute shirt.. It was a shirt that was very unique and colorful.

I walked out and saw someone that looked really familiar, my phone then vibrated. I checked it, It was a text from Jace.

The conversation

Jace ❤️: I miss you..

Kayla ❤️: Awe I miss you too ❤️.

I quickly texted him back and I started following the girl who looked familiar to me.

I caught up to the girl to get a closer look at her and I realized who it was. It was my long lost best friend Diana.

I said" Diana!". I ran up and hugged her.

Diana was my best friend before I moved here. I hadn't seen her in years. Diana was really pretty, she had long brown hair and brown eyes. She loved huskies and one thing we both loved was adventure.

Diana happily said" Kayla! I didn't know you lived here".

I nodded and said" I moved here a month ago, I missed so much!".

Diana said" Me too, It's been soo long".

I agreed" It has, we need to catch up".

Diana smiled and asked" What's new in your life?".

I answered" Umm... I got a new house here and I'm dating a famous person".

Diana asked" Who are you dating?".

I replied" Jace... Norman". A smile crept up on my face when I said his name.

Diana's mouth dropped" Really?".

I laughed" Yes". Diana and I spent the next few hours talking. I was so happy I found my long lost best friend.
