Jace's POV
It was 10:30pm, I laid in my bed thinking about how I kissed Diana. I know it's wrong, but it felt kind of right. I loved Kayla... but something just felt wrong.

I had to talk to Kayla...... I grabbed my jacket and snuck out my window. I walked to Kayla's house and climbed up to her bedroom window and knocked on it.

I saw her sleepily get out of bed and come to the window, she opened the window and asked" Hey what are you doing here at almost 11:00 at night? ".

I asked " Can we talk?".

She nodded and let me into her bedroom and asked" What did you wanna talk about?".

I took a breath and said" I just wanna be friends".

Kayla's POV

Did I hear him correctly?. Did he just say he wanted to be friends. It felt like my heart was breaking into a million pieces.....

I looked at him with tears in my eyes and my voice cracked" Wh-What?".

Jace apologized" Kayla... I'm sorry".

Tears started running down my face, I answered barely having a voice" No your not".

Jace stepped towards me and tried to grab my hand," I really...".

I looked at him crying and yelled" Get out of my room".

Jace said" Kayla...".

I yelled" GET OUT!!".

Jace then crawled out of my window, and left my room. 

I fell to my knees and cried..  it felt like my whole world just fell apart. He didn't even give me a reason why he was breaking up with me.

I curled up in a ball on my bedroom floor and just cried myself to sleep....

The next morning...

I woke up with tears still running down my face, I must have cried in my sleep. I sat up and remembered everything that happened last night. I sobbed quietly. 
I crawled into my bed and just laid there depressed. I didn't move from my bed all day. I didn't answer my phone,  I wouldn't eat... I just laid in my bed....... doing nothing but crying........

I heard a knock on my bedroom door, I threw a pillow at my door and sadly said " go away".

The voice behind my door said " It's me". It was Diana.
Diana came into my room and saw me all cuddled up in my bed....

Diana came and sat down on my bed and asked" Kayla? What's wrong? Nobody has seen you all day".

I started crying again" J - Jace broke up with me last night".

Diana gasped and hugged me tightly" Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry Kayla".

I sobbed into her shoulder" He wouldn't even tell me why".

She comforted me, I ended up falling asleep.

Jace's POV

I was walking at the park when Diana walked up to me and slapped me and yelled" Why would you break up with Kayla?".

I replied" It felt right, I have feelings for someone else".

Diana calmed down" You hurt her Jace".

I sighed " I just need time". I then walked away....

I needed time to think......
