***Harry's POV

"Say bye-bye to Papaw and Grammy, Ferris," I gently take her thumb out of her mouth to make her wave in a silly manner.

And to distract her from sucking her thumb.

It's been a struggle.

"Bye-bye!" she giggles, swinging her legs as I hold her on my hip.

I wave to my in-laws as they drive off with a honk and I shut and lock the front door.

"Let's go see your mum and brother, yeah?"

"Yeah!" Ferris sticks her thumb back in her mouth and lays her head on my shoulder.

I know she's getting sleepy. Ferris is a little cuddle bunny when she's sleepy.

Just like her mum.

I kiss her head and my heart drops when I hear Bea crying.

"Bea?" I call out, quickly making my way into the living room.

"I'm fine, I'm fine," she looks up at me with watery eyes. "Y'know, my hormones and saying goodbye to my parents. It just got to me."

"Mommy's crying," Ferris presses her eyebrows together.

"Mummy's okay, Love," I kiss her cheek before setting her down on the couch. "Are you ready to go upstairs, Bea?"

She collects herself and nods.

And she starts crying again.

I can't quite make out what she's saying through the hiccuping and sexy snot bubbles, but it has something to do with something...that we can't do.

"C'mon, Love, let's go to bed," I hand her a tissue then I realize it.

How the hell am I going to do this?

I have to think fast.

Ferris is fading, Sebastian's still sleeping, which is a good thing, and my wife's falling apart, in between admitting what she wants to do to me.

I clear my damn throat.

"Okay, Bea," I hold out my hands for hers, "Let me help you up."

Once she steadies her balance, I go over to the bassinet. I unlock the top portion and flip up the handle, taking it with me.

I walk over to Bea, grab her pillow and wrap my other arm around her waist.

"Ferris, c'mon, Love," I say with an excited expression. "We're going on a field trip upstairs."

"Okay, Dadda!" she slides off the couch and takes off running towards the stairs.

I thought she was getting sleepy.

"Where does she get her energy from?"

"I have no idea," Bea smiles up at me and I kiss her forehead.

We slowly walk over to the stairs and Bea holds onto the banister.

"I have a plan, so wait here."

She nods and I walk up to the landing and place the pillow and bassinet at a safe distance from the edge.

I can't hold back my yawn as I walk back down to help Bea, while it appears that Ferris ate pure sugar for dinner.

She's hopping up each step and singing her own made up words in between her giggles.
