Chapter Fifty-Eight: Family is Key

"Um just how excited I am for the wedding." Ross says smiling.

"Oh I am too." You say hugging him.

"I need to go make a call. Be right back." He kisses your head and goes downstairs.

"Mike, I love you as our manager but seriously?" Ross says calling him.

"Ross, I need you guys back. You have a show in three days and you haven't rehearsed anything." Mike says.

"We will be ready just please let us stay." Ross pleads.

"No, Ross, I'm sorry but no." He says.

"Then I quit." Ross says.

"Wait no-" Mike starts to say but Ross hangs up.

Ross turns around and sees you on the steps.

"How long have you been there?" He asks quietly.

"For the whole conversation." You say walking towards him.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you but I solved it." He says half smiling.

"Ross, you can't quit on the band. They're your family." You say.

"But our wedding. I can't miss that speaking I'm the groom." He chuckles a little.

"We will figure something out." You say looking up at him.

"Maybe we can just cancel the rest of the tour." He suggests.

"Um no! You guys would loose so much money and your reputation." You say.

"Ugh! Why can't we have normal lives?" He says.

"Cause we're not a normal couple." You say kissing him.

He kisses you back and sighs.

"What do we do?" He asks.

"We can move the wedding to tomorrow cause we only invited family so I bet half of them are already in town or can get here by tomorrow." You suggest.

"Okay let's do that. I'll call everyone." He says smiling at you then going upstairs.

You follow him behind and see the whole family has returned.

"Hey guys." Ross and you say at the same time.

"Rocky told us about Mike..." Stormie starts to say.

"Don't worry. We have figured it out. The wedding is tomorrow at five in the afternoon." Ross says.

"Well I'm glad to here that but still Ross, are you really going to leave your new wife the day after?" Rydel asks.

"Oh..." Ross says looking at you.

"I will be okay." You tell him.

He smiles at you and pulls you closer.

"I guess I need to start planning a wedding." Stormie says laughing.

"I'll help." Nicolette, Maia, and Rydel all say.

"Good lets go." They all get up and leave.

You fall onto the couch.

"I can't believe I'm getting married tomorrow." You say sighing.

"You regretting it?" Ross asks sitting by you.

"No it's just I have always dreamed of a perfect wedding and now I'm getting it." You say smiling.

"Well I get my perfect bride." He says biting his lip lightly.

"And I have my perfect groom." You say kissing him.

"Ugh you two and you're lovey dovey crap." Riker says walking in.

"Hey Riker." You say smiling at him.

"Sup? Ross where's the chocolate cake that I opened yesterday?" He asks.

"I ate it." Ross says laughing.

"Ugh thanks brother." He says rolling his eyes.

"Suck it up buttercup." You say laughing.

"Oh don't get in between me and my food." Riker says laughing.

You roll your eyes and put your feet up into Ross's lap.

"Hey how are you and Nicolette?" You ask.

"Actually I need your guys advice." Riker says sitting across from you and Ross.

"Ok what is it?" Ross asks.

Riker pulls out a ring.

"It's beautiful." You say looking at it.

"I'm proposing to her but I don't know how to do it. I need your guys's help." He says.

"Well I proposed with a poem and she thought it was very sweet." Ross says looking at you and you lightly touch your necklace that he gave you that day.

"I suggest a beach date and you propose at sunset." You suggest.

"No I can't do that because we never go to the beach and she knows that I'm going to propose so that's a give away." He says.

"I don't know what to tell ya then." You say shrugging.

"I'll figure something out." He says getting up and leaving. TO BE CONTINUED.
