Basically, Me. [Mid 2016 - Early 2017]

THE SECOND DAY OF SCHOOL 2016

TODAY WAS THE SECOND DAY OF SCHOOL.

WE ACTUALLY WENT TO CLASS TODAY

so at my school we have this weird A/B Day thing, where on A day we go to four classes, and on B day we go to the other four. And A and B day alternate.

Today we cycled through all eight classes! SO FUN...hahahahahah

First I had art! I have it with OtakuParadise123 . Ingrid was my only friend in that class. There were only 10 of us in that class and the rest were populars

Next I had English, which I have with a lot of friends actually. Each class was 30 mins that day to fit today's weird time schedule, so in most of the classes we went over the syllabus and stuff.

Then I had math. And this is what I saw when I came in.

NUMBER FOUR.

HOMEWORK???!!!

(side note: I figured out Payton's name is actually spelled like Paityn which is a pretty sweet spelling if you ask me.)

BUT HOMEWORK??!

We had a sub in math though. And since we have math everyday, we had to go through the class again later that day because of B Day.

Ooh and remember the boy who had a crush on me and 70% and crap?? YEAH HE WAS ASSIGNED THE SEAT RIGHT NEXT TO ME OUT OF EVERY FREAKING PERSON, OUT OF EVERY FREAKING SEAT IN THE FREAKING ROOM.

Next I had PE, and basically we got our PE spots. I got to sit to HoughkinandHalsey thank God our last names are close to each other.

Next I had Spanish. And as you may know, I moved from Spanish one to Spanish two. Which means a new teacher!!

So since I was in Spanish two with the rest of the kids in the grade now, and some of them have been learning Spanish since KINDERGARTEN

so the teacher wants to play this song that apparently all of them love, called "La Camisa Negra" by this guy named Juanes who is some Latina idol or something??

So she connects her phone to AirPlay, and she needed the AirPlay code, so she asked me for the numbers in Spanish I think?

And I was like "Uhh okay, in Spanish right?"

and she said in Spanish to me, "Yes! This isn't French class! Speak Spanish!" or something along those lines because I'm horrible at Spanish.

So I said the numbers to her in Spanish (pretty good as well, I must say hahaha).

Then she played La Camisa Negra.

But WHYD SHE CALL ME OUT THE FIRST DAY IM IN HER CLASS IM A NEW PERSON WHO JUST MOVED SPANISH LEVELS PLS SPARE ME SEÑORA

I don't think that was supposed to be embarrassing, because I wasn't embarrassed? It was just a misunderstanding on my part.

But hopefully I'll get through Spanish okay, because I suck at Spanish.

Then we went to lunch (thank the Lord).

Then, I had science. We just made name tents and wrote on an index card about ourselves.

Then, we had math again!
And the sub said, "So, let's go over the homework?"

And we were like "wOAH WOAH THERE LADY YOU ASSIGNED US THIS TODAY? LESS THAN TWO HOURS AGO?? I THOUGHT IT WAS HOMEWORK??"

And she says, "Oh yes, in between classes you should've had time to research a bit."

THERE ARE FIVE MINUTES IN BETWEEN CLASSES

I UTILIZE THAT TIME TO GET TO MY NEXT CLASS OF THE DAY

AND LUNCH IS FOR LUNCH AND SOCIALIZATION?? DUH??

HOMEWORK = HOME + WORK. WORK AT HOME. HOMEWORK MEANS THAT YOU DO THE WORK AT HOME, NOT IN BETWEEN CLASSES MRS SUBSTITUTE

so I just didn't raise my hand or do anything during the discussion, and everyone who did have something to say said it on the top of their head.

uh, next after that I had humanities. We also wrote on an index card about ourselves.

Then, they took the WHOLE SCHOOL TO THE GYM FOR HOUSE ACTIVITIES!

Our school has houses, kinda like Hogwarts. Except the houses don't have a theme like "brave" or "smart". They're just a way for competitions. And no sorting hat chooses for you, the faculty just picks randomly for you. We don't even use them that much,

and I am in le WHITMAN HOUSE!! Named after Walt Whitman.

Anyways they just showed us videos about each of the houses' inspirers, like Helen Keller, Henry Thoreau, and Phyllis Wheatley.

Then they told us to write down ideas of what we could do with the houses and what competitions/team building we can do to make it fun?

There's none of my friends in my house. Well, there's Nicole, but siblings are put in the same house.

sigh.

So then...we were dismissed after that.

I did not expect some certain people to be in my classes.

For example, the guy who blackmails everyone is in every single one of my classes, A and B day, except for first period. Because for first period I have art and I guess he does performing arts for first period because OTHER THAN THAT OUR SCHEDULES ARE PRETTY MUCH THE SAME.

Except he's not in my advisory so :)
