Basically, Me. [Mid 2016 - Early 2017]

tired of talking

excuse the title; I didn't know what to title this chapter but I'm listening to Tired of Talking by LÉON so :)

Today I went to volunteer at my church. They have a program called Snack Sack and basically you pack ziploc bags full of food. The bags get shipped off to local schools for the kids whose families are having financial issues and cannot afford proper meals. You'd be surprised on how many people have these issues in life. :(

right now it's 11:30pm and I'm tired but I don't want to go to sleep yet because I just want to listen to music on repeat.

Anyways, today I went on a bike ride with my family in Denton. It was some trail off Ray Roberts, but we got to see the bridge (err, the remains of it really) that Bonnie and Clyde supposedly used to escape after robbing some bank.

After that we went to LSA Burger in Denton Square. It was really good but they forgot to put cheese on my cheeseburger 😅

And since Denton Square is literally right next to the UNT and TWU campuses, there were so many college students there.

A lot of them were women protesting against Donald Trump.

Speaking of women protesting, in Washington DC today (and in numerous cities around the nation) were protesting for women's rights (such as abortion, the 79¢ to $1 ratio between men and women, etc.)!

I sorta wish I was there to see it in person. I also sorta wish I had one of those pink hats with the cat ears that they were wearing...one of my close friends got to go and actually protest in the rally and I'm jealous haha.

A lot of people think that the women are protesting against Donald Trump, but it's really just for women's rights. I wish people didn't have to explain that to others.

Today my friend's acquaintance from camp prank texted me pretending to be "my friend's boyfriend".

It was pretty funny, but the picture she sent of the person pretending to be my friend's boyfriend

WELL

it was actually a picture of the guy she was sitting next to and he was pretty cute alright??

Anyways, I should definitely go to bed now so bye!!
