The Bookstore

Okay but for real, I realized that I never told this story that happened not that long ago.

So why not make it a story within this weird book while listening to Spotify being bored and hoping that my crush will decide to talk to me ??

(might've made up that last part right there :))

*record scratch* *freeze frame* yup, that's me. you may be wondering what I'm actually doing, dropping hints in my weird book. *zooms to the last sentence in stanza four of this chapter* and yup, that's it right there. am I lying? am I tricking the readers? who knows?

pfft what am I doing with my life anymore!!!!!!

oKAY now onto the story.

So my sister, our two friends, and I watched a movie. Right next to the movie theatre is Barnes & Noble. *cue the angels singing from above*

So being problematic teenage girls who have nothing better to do, we went to the beautiful Barnes & Noble after the movie ended, for like a 30-minute trip until my mom came to pick us up.

So we went to the top floor of the store (where all the children/teen stuff primarily is), and we went to the American Girl book section.

Now remember this—American Girl's target audience are American teenage girls (aka us).

So we were in that section, looking at some of the books. My sister and her friend picked up some book (idk which one but it had a quiz in it) and my friend and I picked up this book that said A Girl's Guys To Boys. Honestly we thought it would be interesting and a little funny to look through it and see if the "tips" were accurate or not??

So my friend and I started reading and pointing out the tips to each other, and my sister and her friend began reading aloud some ABC answer quiz thing. This was when I was ~discreetly~ livestreaming on Instagram, and it was innocent like "Oh hi!! Yeah we're at B&N reading this book!" and people started to join it and stuff.

Remember that we were in a bookstore, where people read books alone or together.

bUT THEN

This lady, obviously a worker, and obviously was having a bad day or something, comes up to all of us.

The first thing she says is

"Hey girls, so you're not allowed to be doing what you're doing right now."

and we were like
