Chapter 1 My Great Life

Maya POV:
My life is great. I have great parents. I great guy waiting for me (Josh), and great friends. It can't get any better.
Mom said "Wake up baby girl it's time for school!!!" "Can I have 5 more minutes?" I yelled. "You said that five minutes ago......" She said. "Fine, fine I'll get up." I said as I got up. I walk to my bathroom, brushed my teeth, fixed my hair, and dressed up. I went downstairs, and grabbed a strawberry pop-tart and my backpack. I said goodbye to my mom and grandma. I went back upstairs and went through my window.
I went through Riley's bay window. I saw her sitting on her bed waiting for me. She said "What took so long again?" I replied "I'm just not a morning person or school person. We both giggled. We went downstairs and ate breakfast. Her parents already left for work. We left her house and went to the subway.
I saw Lucas sitting on the seat he first met Riley and me. Once the the subway train stopped, Riley was on Lucas's lap. He said "Hey Princess!" She blush and said "Hi...." I'm so glad the love triangle is gone.
We went to history class. Mr. Matthews was teaching us a life lesson on growing up or something. I wasn't listening. All I could think about was Josh. He hasn't responded to my calls or texts lately. It's probably because a few days ago Zay admitted he had feelings for me. I told him I didn't feel the same way. But he has no hard feelings. All of a sudden, the bell rang. I got up from my desk and left the classroom. I felt a tap on my shoulder. It was Riley. "Why weren't you talking in class? You always do." I said "I was thinking about Josh. He hasn't answered my calls and texts for the last few days." She sighed. "Maybe you should move on." Maybe I should. I told Riley that I have to think about it. I turn around and see Farkle and Smackle. He said "Hi Maya! Hi Riley!" "Hey Farkle! Smackle." We said in unison. Does Farkle still love me? Wait. What am I saying? He's with Smackle. He did say that he still loves Riley and me. But he couldn't choose between us. Do I have feelings for him?
We all go to lunch. We see Lucas and Zay saved us our spot. We're all enjoying our lunch until I say something. "Farkle, can we talk in private." Everyone stopped talking and just stared at me."
