Trust me || Liam Payne

Chapter 44

After getting home from that incredible stressful McDonalds trip it is already 1pm, which means people should already be at our house, they all have keys which is a blessing and a curse all at the same time, lets just say some of them have seen what they never wanted too see, aka interrupted Liam and I.

pulling into the garage we see all the guys and Addie's cars telling us that they are all ready here, we walk inside and hear the laughing and screaming coming from the kitchen

"you guys better not be wrecking my house" Liam calls out to everybody as he walks into the kitchen

I put Spence on the ground and he starts using the wall to walk to the kitchen

"hey baby! oh my god you have gotten so big since I've last seen you" Addie squeals and picks up Spencer

Niall walks up to me and gives me a hug and whispers in my ear "can I please talk to you" I nod as he starts walking back down the hall way to the front door that I had just come down, Liam grabs my arm softly and asks me "whats going on?" I shrug my shoulders whilst looking at him

"I don't know babe, it's fine" he kisses my lips softly and turns to celebrate with the rest of the guys as I start walking upstairs with Niall, he walks into my bedroom and shuts the door when I get in there and starts crying, he sits on my bed with his head in his hands

"Greg was in a car accident, they don't know if he is going to make it, I'm flying back home tonight"

I'm in shock, I can't believe what I just heard, Greg is such a kind soul, such an amazing person and an amazing father

"I'm so sorry Niall" I place my arm around his shoulder and he leans into me still crying

"can you please come with me, I need my best friend" I don't know what to do, I mean of course I want to go with Niall to support him, and his family he is my best friend, but I know Liam won't like it.

I hug Niall and whisper to him "of course I will, stay in here as long as you need, ill go down and tell Liam, spend a few hours with Spence and then we will go" he lies back on the bed still crying, I walk downstairs back to the kitchen, Liam looks at me and automatically knows I need to talk to him

"whats going on baby?" I look at him and start crying, I had to hold it in whilst I was upstairs with Niall, I need to be strong for him he can't have me being a emotional wreck

"Greg was in a really serious car crash, Niall is flying home tonight to be with him because they don't know if he is going to make it, I'm going to go with him"

Liam holds me as I'm still crying "poor Greg, he's a great mate" I feel Liam's lips leave my forehead I wear as I feel the loss of contact between us "do you really have to go? surely Niall can go on his own"

I pull away from Liam in shock, did he really just suggest that his best friend goes to see his brother who could possibly be dying alone

"Liam, I am going because he needs somebody with him to support him, so that is what I'm going to do, I'm going to go spend a few hours with Spence before I go"
