Chapter 51

It's been nearly 18 hours since I sent Niall home to get some rest, I know he really needed it, there has been no change with Greg none at all, the doctors aren't sure how much more time he has.

my chair is positioned right next to Greg's bed, I've been sitting down in this chair since Niall left my body is currently in so much pain, I stand up to walk around the room as I hear a groan come from Greg's mouth

"HELP" I scream to the doctors I start hearing a choking sound as I'm being escorted out of the room as the doctors start talking to each other pulling pipes out of Greg's mouth

"What's happening to him!?! tell me!" I scream at the man who is dragging me from the room

"Miss calm down, this could be many things you need to let us do our job" he says to me as he sits me down on a chair "what could it be" I say with my raw voice

"it could be him waking up and choking on the pipes, it could be a reflux to the pipes, he could be seizing, until we check we wont know, do you have somebody you can call too come and be with you? maybe your fiancé" I nod at him knowing he is talking about Niall, the lie we told so I could join Niall in Greg's room

Niall: Hey Leah whats up has something happened

Leah: Hey honey, you need to come down, something has happened and they wont tell me what, there are heaps of doctors in with him right now and I don't know whats happening

Niall: I'm coming now, fuck I can't loose him Lea

Leah: just hurry

I hang the phone up sitting in the chairs opposite Greg's door, I hear doctors yelling although I can't make out what they are saying, I feel a tear slip down my cheek and feel a hand wipe it away

I look up too see Liam's hand on my face with a distraught Niall standing behind him, I stand up and pull Liam into a hug, I start sobbing everything at once started hitting me, Greg the person who I have known for so long the person who I saw every summer and stayed at his house with the guys, I can't loose anybody else

"shhh babe its okay I'm here, you're okay" Liam's hand gently running through my hair trying to calm me down

Niall sits down on the chair next to the one I was sitting in before I hear a sob escaping from his mouth, I pull away from Liam and instantly sit next to Niall running my hand up and down his back to try and comfort him, Liam sits in the chair next to me and places his hand on my leg comforting me as I comfort Niall.

"Niall, look at me" he turns to face me, the tears are streaming down his red and puffy face "Greg is a fighter okay! he will make it though this, remember a few years ago when we where all playing British Bulldogs in your back yard and he broke his leg and didn't even cry, he is so strong he WILL make it through this" I know I shouldn't say that Greg will be fine because honestly we don't know what is going to happen, but I need to do something to make Niall feel better, and honestly it made me feel a little better too.
