Leah POV
I have managed to stay away from him for years, why is he suddenly back, I don't know what to do, he knew I was here, I need to act as calm as possible I don't need Liam thinking I'm going to have another breakdown
"hey babe I'm going to go see Greg and Niall ill see you later" I say to him kissing his lips, I just needed to get out of the house, I needed to check up on Niall see how he is doing.
walking into the hospital room I see Niall lying on the floor next to Greg's bed, Greg still hasn't woken up, the tubes that are stuck in parts of his body are the only things keeping him alive, machines are the only things keeping him alive, I feel a part of my heart breaking.
"Niall, honey common that doesn't look comfortable babes" I sit on the floor next to him waking him up knowing he will be incredibly sore if he stays like that for too long
he wakes up looking at me with his red eyes, its clear that he has been crying, he has been trying to stay so strong it was only a matter of time before he broke down
"why are you here? I thought you where going home to shower and sleep" he said now standing up in front of me "yeah I went and showered, and then Liam showed up at the door so we just talked for a bit" I am not a fan of lying to Niall but telling him that I was having the time of my life while he is at the lowest point of his is not what I want to do
"why isn't he here?" He asks me simply "he's had a long day, he's just trying to get some sleep"
"Niall, go home, get some rest ill stay here with Greg, ill tell you if there is any change"
He nods at me and pulls me in for a hug, I hold him tightly knowing how close he is to breaking point, it kills me knowing how sad he is, it kills me that I can't do anything to help beside be there for him
Niall pulls away, kisses my forehead and walks out of the door, I know he is going to go home and break down, but he needs it, Liam is there I know Liam will look after him, their best friends I know Niall is in good hands
