Ch. 9

(Katherine's p.o.v.)

"Katherine wake up, it's 12 we got to go so hurry up." My dad tells me.

"I don't wanna get up."

"Kath."

"I'm up I'm up."

"Thank you."

I get up and take a fast shower. I don't even bother to blow dry my hair or anything. I leave it down and get dressed in a orange/pink tank top and white skinny jeans. I get my vans and do my makeup quickly. I look at my appearance one more time then run down the stairs.

"Quick enough for you?"

"We have to leave so let's go."

"I'm coming..." I grab my phone off the counter and go outside. I get in the backseat with Maxx.

"Where are we going?"

"Out."

"In public ?"

"Yes you can't live in a shell." my mom says.

"Yes I can, and I will. I don't have much to live anyways."

"Yes you do."

"Nope."

I get bored very easily so I end up braiding my hair, then taking it out, and redoing it. I do this about 20 times before my phone starts making noises. Twitter notifications. Yay.

Endless crap from school. I can't get away from it. I put my phone down and look out the window. I feel the tears come down, I don't care at this moment.

"Are you okay Kath?" Maxx asks.

"I'm fine." I whisper.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah." I look over at him and smile a quick and small smile then look back out the window.

We soon get to wherever we are supposed to be at.

"Where are we?"

"Mall. You can't live in the shell. Time to get out.."

"Ugh.."

I get out and already fans come running over. I spot Liam and Dani is with him. Ruby is also here. Ruby is with Louis.. I don't know what happened with El. We all just walk around. My dad takes my hand and makes sure I don't get lost in the crowd. I look around and I see everyone from school.

"Dad I see people from school."

"It's okay just ignore them."

"I'll try."

They looked over at me and their jaw literally dropped. I laugh a little and kept walking. We get to a store and walk around inside. My dad and Liam act weirdly and its quite funny.

"You guys are so weird." I state shaking my head.

"Thanks babe." Liam smiles.

I roll my eyes when he looks over at me. Fans run over but security doesn't let them in. They start screaming loudly.. singing some songs too. My mum takes me over by the clothes I would wear and she makes me get like 300 things and try them on. I am okay with it though, I love clothes and shopping... Just not when its like this..

My mum and I go in the dressing room and try on a bunch of clothes. I try on this really pretty high waist skirt and I fall in love. It looks so cute.! I try on many high waist shorts and crop tops to go with it. I love them all. Mom makes me try on a lot of dresses too. Half of them aren't as bad as I thought they would be.

I put on this one really pretty red dress, it shows off my curves, I hate my curves so much but in this dress I actually look pretty? I think someone put drugs in my food yesterday.

"Go show your dad this dress." Mum tells me. I shake my head no but she drags me out anyways.

"Niall, come here." My mum calls.

Not only did my dad come but so did the boys and everyone else. I felt embrrassed. They all kinda just looked at me.. I felt my cheeks go red. I look at the ground and my curls fall over my face.

"You look beautiful." My dad tells me.

"Thank you."

Liam comes over to me and makes me look up at him.

"Don't be shy.. you look perfect." He tells me.

I smile up at him and he smiles back.

"So since you are going to be 16 tomorrow..." My mom squeezes into the conversation..

"What about it?"

"Do you want to do anything?"

"I don't know.. I will only be 16.. not that big of a deal"

"Yes it is!!" My dad exclaimed.

"How?"

"Its your sweet 16 baby.. its huge. Soon your gonna be outta here and probaly on your own." My mom explains.

"I'll be dead before that.." I whisper.

We continue to look around the store we are in. I don't bother looking at any of the clothes. My mind just wanders. I feel sad whenever I see Liam and Dani holding hands. I know they are together but it still hurts me. I am getting way too attached.

We go from store to store and try on more clothes and all that stuff. The fans are still crazy but they have died down a little bit. I grab my phone and put on my headphones to forget the world. I walk around and find the phone cases. I look around at them and find a few that I really like.

"Hey mum, can I get new cases?"

"Sure."

I pick out two of them that I really like and hand them to my mum. We pay for everything and finally we are on our way out.
