Ch. 29

(Katherine's p.o.v.)

"Liam, can you help me up the stairs?" I ask after I calmed down.

"Yeah, sure thing baby."

Liam brings me up and then goes back downstairs. I'm very grateful about that. I make my way to the bathroom and get my blade. I can make this happen, I can make the pain go away finally.

Tears come and my vision got blurry. I closed my eyes not wanting to look at myself in the mirror. I press down on my skin with the blade, I just want to die. I am just a useless girl on this planet. I am just a mistake. Elizabeth can be the new better me. Maybe people will love her unlike me. I don't want her to suffer like me. No one deserves to suffer but me.

"I'm so sorry Liam." I whisper.

*later that night*

(Liam's p.o.v.)

I talked to Niall and he told me some news on what is happening. I got off the phone with him and go upstairs. I go into my room and she isn't in there. Weird.. I go over to the bathroom door and I try to open it but it's locked. My heart starts pounding and I am struck with fear. I can't lose her, no no no.

"Katherine !" I scream. She can't do this, not now., not ever. I can't have her leave. Tears come to my eyes and I run to my bedroom and find something they will unlock the door. I look around not able to see right. I finally found a hair pin and run to the bathroom door. I can't have this happen. Ren and Niall already have to go through the labor process for hours, they don't need to come home to their daughter in the hospital again.I get into the bathroom and Katherine is on the ground still breathing. Thank god.

"Go away." She says barley above a whisper. I can tell her voice is sore.

"No, I'm not letting this happen." I cry out.

"I want it to. I don't want to live to see another sun rise again. Why don't you understand that?  All this hate, isnt going away."

"Katherine, look up at me."

She looks up and her eyes are red and her cheeks are stained with tears. I feel overwhelmed with sadness. My baby, my poor, poor, baby.

"I promise, it will stop one day."

"One day maybe a day too late."

"Don't say that." I cringe.

"Its the truth. Know how many promises have been broken already? I don't need a new one just to get broken."

"This one I promise won't get broken."

"That's what you say."

"I will make it happen."

"How is that?"

"No idea but I will find a way."

"I don't want any trouble going into this. They can't and won't be stopped.."

"They can be and will be."

I sit down by her and take the blade. I put my finger on her chin and make her look up at me.

"I will do all I can." I whispered softly and then leaned and kissed her.

After a few moments, we let go and I got her up. I helped her clean off her arms then I just decided to give her a shower. I turn on the shower and then I go downstairs and get a something to cover up her cast.

When I get back up I help katherine undress and then put the thing on her leg. After I helped her into the shower I strip down and get in too. I help Katherine wash her hair, do her body, and clean off her arms more. By the way she looks, I think she may pass out.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah."

"Katherine tell me the truth because it looks like any minute you will end up fainting."

"I won't."

"Yes you will, do you feel lightheaded?"

"A little."

"I think we have to take you to the hospital."

"No!"

"Katherine, you lost too much blood." I say harshly.

We keep this argument going on till I finally win. After helping her in the shower, I get her dressed and help her do her hair then I carry her downstairs and bring her into the car.
In the car I grab my phone and call Alyssa.

"Hey dad whats up?"

"I am not going to be home most likely when you get home."

"Why?"

"Katherine has to go to the hosptial."

"What? Why?!"

"I will explain later."

I hang up the phone and hurry to the hospital.

"You don't have to stay you know." Katherine says softly.

"I am and will stay."

She doesn't answer back after that. She just looks out the window and waits to get to the hospital.We get there and I bring her inside. They take her in within seconds and thats when she passed out.

** Three days later**

"Is she okay?!" Niall ask coming in. Ren finally got to go home and Niall was able to come over here. I kind of kept it from him until now.

"She was, but then she fainted."

"What happened?"

"Blood loss, from cutting." I barley say above a whisper.

"Oh god no, Katherine!"

The boys came in and asked question after question. Now I see why people don't like repeating over and over what happened. After I answered all their questions they look at me in shock and we just sit there awkwardly.I wish Katherine could wake up, I need to know that she is okay.

"Have you gone home?" Harry asks.

"Yeah, a few times here and there. But I wanted to stay most of the time just in-case she woke up."

" How long has she been out?" Niall asks.

"Third day today." I say shyly.

"And we are just hearing about this ?" Zayn asks a little harshly.

"I didn't want to bother Niall and then I just never got around to telling you guys." I defend.

"I wish we could've known sooner but at least we know now." Louis sighs.

"I know, I would've but I just have been so absentminded."

"It's okay. I would be too." Louis reinsures me.

I look at her laying there, she looks so peaceful. I am so scared of loosing her. I don't even notice I am crying until a tear hits my hand. I have cried so many times during these past few days. This just absolutely kills me.
