Ch. 20

(Katherine's p.o.v.)

I wake up in my bed and I try to get up but then I remember about my foot.

I sigh and try and grab the crutches. That doesn't work out too well. I fall off the bed and my dad walks in.

"Are you ok?"

"Yeah fine."

He helps me up and grabs me the crutches. I walk to the stairs, well more like hop, and I decide to do the fun way down.

"Can I go down the stairs on like a blanket ?!" I ask my dad.

"Sure."

I cheer and he gets me a few blankets. I sit on the stairs and he pushes me down. I was successful, like I always as doing this. I bump into the table chair and hurt my other foot.

"Ow that hurt." I laugh a little. I sit on the floor and wait for my dad to come down. He comes down with my crutches and I walk into the kitchen.

I see all the boys are here and so is Ruby, Perrie, Emma and her bf Luke, Hannah, and Alyssa.

I go over to the island and sit on one of the chairs. I take out my phone and text Kenzie.

•remember when we used to slide down the stairs with blankets ?•

•oh god yes!•

•lol I just did that now!!•

•lucky, we have to hang out soon and then do that!•

•yes!!•

I start laughing hysterically and my dad looks at me like I'm crazy.

I roll my eyes and continue to text Kenzie.

I go on twitter and new trends are trending all around, new photos of Liam carrying me into the hospital are all over too. Other pics trend but they are all old.

One account posted that Liam and Dani are now officially over, I look into Liam's twitter and find nothing then u go to Dani's and she confirmed it.

I decide it let it go and I put my phone down. Everyone is making small talk and I turn in music softly to entertain myself.

"Hey Kath!" Emma says coming over with Luke.

"This is Katherine, Katherine this Luke."

I say hi and shake his hand. We all make small talk then my dad comes over.

"Are you fine with pizza tonight ?" My dad asks me.

"Yep." I smile slightly.

I hear my phone go off and it's from twitter Some fan tweeted me and I'm scared to see what they posted.

I look at the tweet and I almost through my phone.

I put my phone down and I start to get tears in my eyes. The knifes are so close. No Kath, stop you can do this.

I have a battle with myself for a few seconds before I give up and I almost go for it.

Liam comes over and he knows something is wrong.

"What's wrong.?"

I give him my phone and show him the tweet. I feel as if everyone stopped talking and just started to look at me.

"Kath, you know that's not true."

I nod even though I don't believe him.

"What are they saying ?" Ruby asks.

I tell them the tweet and I cry harder. Why couldn't I have been successful? She even basically said it would have been better if I did.

Why couldn't I have been ?
