Ch.21

(Katherine's p.o.v.)

***Next day*****

I wake up to my phone going off.

I groan but get up anyways and look to see why my phone went off.

L: Your mum and dad are gonna go out today so you are gonna come to my house, okay..?

K: Okay, how long will they be gone though?

L: I don't know.

I get up and I get ready for the day, I have nothing better to do. I got dressed in the causal jeans, a superman shirt that goes over the shoulder, and I straighten my hair. I do my makeup lightly and then I go downstairs which I find hard.

I see my mum and dad are down here and so is Maxx.

"Did Liam tell you already?"

"That I'm going to his house.. yes."

"Okay."

"Why does Maxx get to stay home though ?"

"I'm not the crippled one." Maxx says bumping into me on purpose. I use one of my crutches and I hit him in the leg.

"Knock it off." My dad says looking between Maxx and I.

"He started!"

"Your the one who hit me!"

"I'm the crippled one here!"

"So what! you can't hurt me!"

"You can't hurt me either! "

We fight back and fourth like we usually do. It ends up that I win and Maxx gets in trouble.

I smile to myself and I spin around on the chair. I like being the younger one, I get away with more.
