Daisy's POV
We are at this club getting something to eat before the boys' gig.
"Far out I'm nervous, there are so many people lined up," Calum says through his food.
"You'll be fine babe," I reassure him.
We finish our meals and we go into a separate room that's blocked off from public access. It's pretty much a massive dressing room. It has a tv, a lounge, table of snacks and fridge and toilets. Luke strums his guitar quitely in the corner. Calum and I sit on the lounge.
"You're going to be amazing tonight, trust me," I tell Calum.
"Thank you babe," Calum says kissing my cheek.
A tall broad security guard walks in.
"10 minutes boys, 10 minutes."
Ashton nervously starts tapping his drum sticks on the table playing the beat to Out Of My Limit.
"Alright huddle everyone," Luke says from the corner of the room.
We all huddle in a massive circle.
"Alright, we're going to play a rocking show tonight, let's not disappoint the fans," Luke says putting his hand in. We all put our hands in after Luke.
"Peace chicken grease nipples on three... Ready?" Ashton says, smirking.
"One..."
"Two..."
"Three!"
'PEACE CHICKEN GREASE NIPPLES!!" We all shout, laughing.
All the boys hug and get focused. It's amazing to see the boys backstage and see how they get ready to perform. As fans we would never see it. The focus and connection in this room is unbelieveable.
"Boys to stage now," the security guy says.
"Good luck boys!" I shout.
"Good luck!" Bailey yells.
Calum walks over to me to give me a hug.
"Good luck babe." I hug him tightly.
"Thank you princess." Calum kisses me softly.
They make their way to the stage and Bailey and I find our way into the audience, in the front row.
Bailey's POV
Daisy and I are here in the front row surrounded by other fans. Some girls recognise us and ask for photos, which is pretty weird but really cute. The boys play their first few songs - Out of My Limit, Heartbreak Girl, and Beside You.
"This next song is called Try Hard," Luke announces.
"1...2...3..4!" Ashton yells, banging on his drums, and they begin to play.
"She's dropping out of school 'cause she don't need the grades,
The colors in her hair don't seem to fade,
I get dressed up when I go out but she gets dressed down,
She's 17 I told her I'm 20,
I couldn't take her out 'cause Mom's got no money,
It's stuff like this that makes me wish that I could change somehow,
Sitting here at home, it's obvious,
"She's so out of reach, and I'm finding it hard
'Cause she makes me feel, makes me feel,
Like I try, like I try, like I'm trying too hard,
'Cause I'm not being me, and it's getting me down,
That she makes me think, makes me think,
That I try, that I try, that I'm trying too hard again,
'Cause I'm trying too hard again,
"She's got a rose tattoo but she keeps it covered,
I play guitar but she's into drummers,
She's seen my face around but she doesn't even know my name,
I pierced my lip so she thinks I'm cool,
I ripped my jeans and dropped out of school,
I followed her 'round the town but she thinks that I'm a weirdo now,
Sitting here at home, it's obvious,
"She's so out of reach, and I'm finding it hard,
'Cause she makes me feel, makes me feel,
Like I try, like I try, like I'm trying too hard,
'Cause I'm not being me, and it's getting me down,
That she makes me think, makes me think,
That I try, that I try, that I'm trying too hard again,
"But now, who knew?
She's in the crowd of my show,
Nothing to lose,
She's standing right in the front row,"
Luke points at me and my heart melts as though it's made of candle wax.
"The perfect view,"
Luke winks at me.
"She came alone on her own,
And there's something that you should know,
"You're so out of reach, and I'm finding it hard
'Cause you make me feel, you make me feel,
Yeah she makes me feel, she makes me feel,
It's obvious,
"She's so out of reach, and I'm finding it hard
'Cause she makes me feel, makes me feel,
Like I try, like I try, like I'm trying too hard,
'Cause I'm not being me, and it's getting me down,
That she makes me think, makes me think,
That I try, that I try, that I'm trying too hard again,
(and again, and again, and again, and again),
'Cause I'm trying too hard again,
(and again, and again, and again, and again),
'Cause I'm trying too hard again,"
The crowd goes absolutely insane. The boys sing Wherever You Are, Eighteen, and cover Sex by The 1975 and Where Did The Party Go by Fall Out Boy, and then all of a sudden the show is over. The boys sounded absolutely amazing. Security come over to us to take Daisy and I backstage. After going to countless doors we finally find their dressing room. The boys are laughing loudly, eating lollies and being stupid, as per usual. Luke runs up to me and envelopes me in a bone-crushing hug.
"Did you like it?" Luke smiles, resting his chin on top of my head.
"I loved it, but I can't breathe," I gasp.
He quickly loosens his hold on me, but still doesn't let me go. I hug him tightly and bury my face in his chest.
"You're the best boyfriend anyone could wish for," I smile. "And Jesus Christ on a bike, you can sing!"
"I try," Luke says, laughing and looking at his feet.
We decide that we should all stay at Calum's house tonight, which makes me feel bad since tonight was supposed to be the night I meet Luke's family. A maxi cab comes to pick all of us up and take us back to Cal's place.
By the time we stop at Mcdonald's and finish our McFlurries on the loungeroom floor in our hoodies, it's super late so we all just crash as soon as our movie finishes, Daisy sandwiched between Cal and Ash, and me and Luke spooning with Mike.
