Chapter 20. France

Your pov

Your ears still ringed from the gun shots from last night. But at least your costume didn't tear at all, and your reflexes were amazing. You never were flexible, ever, you could barley do a cartwheel, but what you did last night was amazing. You flopped down on the couch, flipping through the News channels, all The broadcast were about you, about a new hero arrived. You smiled and looked out the window to be greeted by the rising sun.  It was early Tuesday, and you deiced to not go to work but you will go to school.

You ran back up to your room and got on your school outfit and Skateboard and ran back to your enormous kitchen and grabbed a apple. You went to the elevator and pressed the L button. You felt good today, You reached outside, even know it was very cold you didn't car, it felt warm to you.  You layed your skateboard on the ground and rode it all the way to school.

Not bothering to stop by peter house.

"Have you heard of that new superhero Shadow?!" Everyone seemed to say under there breath or either yell through the hallway. You smiled and Saw Ava near her locker and ran up to her.

"Hey there Tyga." You said, trying to get on her nerves, She sighed and rolled her eyes. You only laughed.

"Really you too? Has Sam brain washed you or pay you to say that?"  AVA sighed out with a smile plastered on her face.

"Yup." You lied and she only rolled her eyes more.

"So have you heard of that new hero....Shadow?" Ava said raising one brow at you. You couldn't help but smile.

"Yeah, She seems really awesome. I saw her on the news, she looked hot too." You replied with a laugh, Ava rolled her eyes again. That was her signature move.

"(Y/N)" You said with a smile, "Is there anything you want to tell me?" Ava said leaning against her locker, You grinned.

"That I am Shadow." You leaned in and whispered in her ear. Ava squealed which earmed a lot of stares. You finally quiet down Ava, but before you could say anything Luke hand took a hold of your shoulder.

"Hello, shadow." He said lowly so no one can hear but you and Ava. You smiled.

"How did you know?" You laughed out, but before he could answer Danny gave you a huge hug.

"Congratulation on achieving your dreams and making them a reality. But remember great power comes great responsibility." Danny said, slowly backed away from your hug. (I suck at Danny quotes that why he doesn't talk as much in this story.) Then Sam came running down the Halls, Pushing pass everyone in his pathway. He finally Reached Ava locker.

"GUYS GUYS GUYS GUYS!!!!!! Have you seen Shadow!? Oh My GOD we need to recruit her-" Before he could finish Luke quickly put his hand over Sam mouth. Before he could reveal any more information.

"SAM!" Ava hissed lowly, "What the heck? Do you want everyone to know that we are hero! or work for shield?!" Ava looked mad and worried if anyone heard Sam or Her. But no one did.

"EW!" Luke screamed, removing his hand from Sam mouth, "Did you just lick me!?"

"Yup," Sam said popping the P.

"I should jack you up for doing that."

"ANYWhoosies." Sam said, "Shadow is fricken Awesome! I love her! I would Marry her right now if I could! Sorry Ava, Love you Babe!"

Ava rolled her eyes, And Sam smirked added in with a wink.

"Have you seen Shadow?!" Sam continued, "She so Hot! Have you seen her curves-"

"Your looking at her." Danny whispered in Sam ear. And Sam eyes widened. And stared at you.

"(Y/N)! Your her! And she  you! What?!" Sam squealed and gave you a very tight hug. You barley knew what Sam just said but you didn't care. You just took the hug. When you hugged Sam you Saw Peter, he gave you a small smile but you just looked away.

Then the Bell rang.

Off to science class with....

"Welcome Home dear." Your mom said with open arms for you to give her a hug. But you simply ignored her and walked passed her. "Well that was awfully rude."

"Why are you here?" You snapped, taking a plum for the fruit bowl, Taking a hard bite, "What do you want?"

"To talk to you." Your mother said grabbing your hand and taking you to the couch. You sat down taking another bite of your plum, "Have you had any...um...Differences in your life?"

"what?" you said worried. Does she know you have powers, "No."

"Oh really? Shadow?" Your mom said in a stern voice. You stared at her in  pure shock, scared. How did she know? Maybe she joking?

"Mom how did you-"

"Oh please, You don't think I don't know my own daughter? I might not be there 24/7 but I still gave birth to you." Your mother replied.

"Your not mad? Hold on How did you know? How did I get these powers?" You said with a tear falling down your cheek. This was the first time you had a bonding moment with your mom.

"Oh course not, I am proud. You are the first in are family to use your powers to be a hero!"

"Family?!"

"Of course dear! My side of the family have Flight or electricity powers, Dad side of the family can control nature." You mom replied, "But you are the choose one, You have all three, well not the choose one. But you are Rare."

"what? I-I-I" You started to say.

"Honey, I love that you are trying to protect New York City but you can't anymore." Your Mom said touching your cheek, and for the first time you didn't flinch.

"What? Why?" You cried more.

"Were moving, to France."
