Forty Four. Slow motion

"We need to go now!" Peter yelled, pulling away from your hug. He was trying to trace what route Rhino took to head to his house, thinking of many ways he could go, but a Rhino in new York would cause a lot of attention.

"Hey, don't worry. Aunt Mae is at a friend house, she safe. We just need to save the house and defeat Rhino." You said calmly, you put your hand on his shoulder trying to reassure him, but he quickly pushed it off.

"It not that simple! It my house, and we would probably have to move, and my Aunt doesn't have that much money, and I will have to change schools! And-God!" Peter yelled slamming his fist on the ground in anger, "Everything is not as simple as you want it  to be (Y/N)! Not everyone grew up with rich parents who let them do whatever they want. I have a responsibility, I have struggles."

You froze in shock and pain. What just happen? First Peter loved you and praised you and now he angry and yelling at you for looking on the bright side? Sure your parents were rich but that doesn't mean you didn't struggle either. At least his Aunt was there for him and didn't leave him alone on Christmas day, or he wasn't forgotten about on his birthday, his aunt didn't send him a 'Get well Soon' card when he turned 12. Or that time they payed you to forgive them for missing the 'Annual Family  Vacation' for the 4th time in a row. And at least he had someone home with him all the time. Someone who loved him.

"GUYS!" You heard Hawkeye yell as he and the rest of the standing avengers ran over to you. You sighed loudly as Peter got up from slamming the ground. Hawkeye stopped in front of peter.

"I know where Rhino is." Hawkeye said calmly, Peter perked up and his eyebrows raised.

"Where?!" Peter intensely yelled.

"He heading down alleys ways, causing less attention, but I put a tracking device on him and he is only five minutes away....you need to hurry."

Before anyone can say anything else, Peter quickly webbed a streetlight and kept swinging on a variety of buildings, everyone looked at you, you gave a nod and headed off with peter.

You landed hardly on the ground in front of Peters house, you saw people walking carefully towards his front door, trying not to startle the Rhino, so he could get a better catch of the Rhino, but there was no sign of him.

"PETER! We need to call for back up." you yelled out, walking to him.

"SHHHHH! I don't need backup, I got this. Just stand back and don't do anything." Peter snapped back, you felt a stabbing pain in your heart, you wanted to help. You kept looking for any signs of the Rhino, but there was none. It was strange, maybe he had the wrong address? But how? Then you heard muffled screams, you quickly turn to Peter but he was gone. You stared at the front door, then heard a to familiar Russian accent behind you.

"Ah, little girl come to play, again." You whipped around to see the Rhino, and shockingly Aunt Mae being straddled in his right mechanical paw, and you then saw a flash of red and blue, automatically seeing Peter on top of his house roof, waiting for a surprise attack.

"MAE!" You cried out, seeing her frozen in shock, by her outfit you could tell she came home from volunteering from the hospital, but you were confused, knowing she was gone to see a friend.

Peter quickly jumped off roof and went for a swift attack but failed as Rhino knew all of his combat moves, Rhino laughed as Peter fell to the ground and struggled to get back up. Aunt Mae cried out Spider-man name, but she failed to know who was behind the mask.

"Since little kids don't learn from mistakes, I will take them out, but who will I exterminate first?" Rhino said thickly, with a smirk. He quickly threw Aunt Mae in the high in the air as she left a deafening scream, you could see neighbors coming out to see all of the commotion. Rhino quickly went to attack Peter and I quickly catch Aunt Mae before she fell on the ground.

You gently put Aunt Mae on the ground, asking if she was okay, but before she could say a word, a loud sound rippled through the air, you quickly turned around, and everything seemed to be in slow motion. You saw a bullet coming straight for Aunt Mae, and before you could say anything you saw another flash of red and blue jump in front of you. You looked back up to the Rhino in horror, but he was gone. You peered back at the ground to see Blood on you, Aunt Mae and on the ground. You quickly run over to the scene, to see a bullet hole in Spider-man chest....right in his heart.

Aunt Mae just sat there, processing everything that happened in the course of three minutes. You quickly ripped off The mask of spider-man, to revel Spider-man, Aunt Mae screamed and ran over also, holding peter in his arms. She cried so hard and a crowd formed around you, some cried, some disbelieving that it was the "nerdy" kid, and some took pictures and other prayed and called 911. You held on to peter too, crying through your mask.

Peter moved slowly and whispered four words.

"I love you both."

Then he took his final breath, as you heard the ambulance near by, you cried more, taking off your mask and giving him a final kiss.

"I love you too."

Hi guys, I know this was a really depressing chapter, but we have One or Two  more chapters to go. Trust me, this story isn't finished yet.  Sorry for making you wait this long for this.
