I watched as 5 Seconds of Summer rehearsed for their gig, to be honest. I was just tired and wanted to sleep.

Once getting here not that long ago, they dragged me down for a midnight rehearsal. So me being me, I was in my Faith hooded pom pom onesie from boohoo. I had my white vans on my feet and I lied on the sofa. Literally dozing off every other song before I knew it, black captivated my whole body.

Ashton

I finished playing the drums to Try Hard and looked up to find Brinley with her hood over her head and her feet propped up onto the sofa as she lied there asleep.

"Maybe you should take her to bed mate. We'll rehearse again tomorrow." Calum told me, I nodded and put my drumsticks away and walked over to her sleeping figure.

I slipped my hands beneath her legs and back to support her as I carried her bridal style up to the suite. I held her body in one arm awkwardly as I got the door unlocked and opened as I re-adjusted her to carry her inside and to the bedroom. I set her on the bed and took her shoes off and tucked her into the covers.

Her phone buzzed on the nightstand lightly, I picked it up and walked over to the kitchen and sliding the phone open to answer.

"Hi, Brinley is currently sleeping. May I take a message?" I asked, making sure to be as polite as possible to whoever was on the other side of the line. I checked real quick to find out it said Mom.

"Is this Ashton?" her mother asked, "Yes ma'am, this is he." I told her.

I was literally interrogated and it bothered me that they wouldnt trust me with their supposed flower. I would never hurt her so they have no need to worry. I wouldnt push her for anything. Im a gentleman, something my mum and dad did good with while raising me.

"Will you have her call me as soon as she wakes up?" her mother told me, I told her of course as I bidded her a farewell before leaving the phone in the kitchen counter along with my own and going back to the bedroom and into the bathroom.

I stripped my clothes and stepped into the water, allowing the cool water to turn burning hot as it pelted my skin. I closed my eyes, Brinley's dancing from that one day flowing back into my mind. I dont understand but it was the way she moved.

It told a story, and I know there was a story behind that beautiful girl's movements.

Opening my eyes, I took the male shampoo I had inside the shower and began lathering my hair.

"Ash. Can I shower with you?" her small voice poked at the back of my mind.

I peeked out the window to see her in one of my black t-shirts, it reaching just above her cut thighs. I inhaled deeply and nodded, watching as she slowing began taking off every material item off of her body.

I took her hand, gently pulling her under the warm water with me, observing her tired face but brightening smile.

I opened my eyes to see that the water is now freezing cold and I have been in here for over an hour, daydreaming.

I rushed in finishing my shower and yanked a cotton towel from the rack and wrapped it around my waist. I stepped onto the rug in the bathroom, clearing the mirror and looking at my reflection.

Why are you thinking these things Ashton? I asked myself mentally. I shouldnt be thinking this way whatsoever.

I rubbed my face, still holding up my towel as I went to get dressed.

I threw on a random pair of boxers and a plaid pair of pajama pants and slid into the bed with Brinley, which she automatically rolled into me before I had the time to wrap my own arms around her minuscule frame.

I rested my cheek to the top of her head and closed my eyes, shutting out all thoughts of what I had imagined in the shower.

---

Brinley

I woke up, feeling arms around me. I looked up to see Ashton, I couldnt stop my hands from what they were doing as they gently lined his facial features with the tips of my own fingers.

They glided up from his collar bone to his jaw line where there rested slight stubble from his day or so of not shaving.

My fingers traced his lips, to his nose, to his cheek bones and over all facial structure before running them through his hair to see a smile appear on his lips.

"I could get used to that every morning." he spoke low and huskily as he kept his eyes closed.

A blush rose onto my cheeks as I buried my face into his chest, now realizing he wasnt wearing a shirt. My breath caught in my throat, but I knew I was the only one to notice.

I could feel his eyes burning onto my face, I was hesitant to look up to him. When I did, I didnt expect his lips to rest on my nose.

I froze and I didnt know what to do, I never received much affection and this got my heart to hammer against my chest as if it was a stampede of wild boars.

"A-Ashton." I whispered, not sure he heard me fully but made sure to take the chance with it.

"Yes love?" he asked, this time, I stared directly into his eyes. I liked looking at their color. The hazel they become and how at times, when he's really happy they turn a slight green.

It buzzed my stomach to see them that way. "Let's get breakfast." I told him softly before removing his arms, and getting off the bed but making my way back quickly to kiss his cheek and run to my suitcase to gather clothes to change into.

I grabbed my light denim skinny jeans along with my grey Rag & Bone Melanie oversized sweatshirt and walked into the bathroom quickly.

Making sure I locked the door, I stood in front of the mirror and looked at my face, my cheekbones becoming more prominent as I ate less and less.

Ashton knew that when I said breakfast, I meant breakfast for him. I dont eat. I allowed myself to believe. It was an honest truth though.

I quickly unzipped my onesie, stepping out of it to pull on my day clothes. I looked at my hair, debating what would be done with it today.

I brushed through it, leaving it natural as I made small braids in various places throughout to add some style to the plain types I always done upon myself.

I unlocked the door and opened it slightly, gathering my onesie and taking it out to my luggage as I pulled out my makeup kit and walked back to the bedroom as I kept the door open, allowing the cool air to flow in, making the tiled floor icy on my feet.

I looked into the mirror, taking in what I would have to touch up. I pulled out my foundation and set powder as Ashton walked in and wrapped his arms around me from behind.

"You dont need to put that gunk on your face love." he spoke gently, fully dressed without shoes as well. At least he had socks.

"I do though, I need to hide my faults and look pretty for once." I noted, looking into his eyes through the mirror.

He held my waist gently, turning me around so my lower back rested against the granite sink and our fronts brushed against each other.

"Brinley, you are beautiful and perfect exactly the way you are. You dont need makeup or clothes to make you look any better than you already are. You are perfect in my eyes, and that's all you will ever be. So dont.." he paused for a second as he placed small kisses from my slightly exposed collar bone up to my cheek. "Dont wear makeup while you are here." he whispered before placing a light kiss on my lips before stepping out of the bathroom, leaving me distraught from what had just occurred milliseconds ago.
