Garroth's P.O.V:
Wow. Phoenix Drop.
I didn't know it was this bad.
I always thought Phoenix Drop would continue to be a prosperous village while we were gone. But... I know Dante tried.
My train of thought got cut off when (Y/n) squeezed my hand to calm me down. She probably sensed the tension in the air because if anything, I sensed it too.
"Hey,It's gonna be okay" she said as she kissed my cheek. I blushed.
" Yeah." I said, as I stared into her beautiful eyes.
She looked a bit better this time due to all the power she used during the battle with... ' You-know-who'. None the less, she was still beautiful.
"Um... hey (Y/n)?" I asked, rubbing the back of my neck.
"Yup?" she simply asked while looking ahead and walking forward.
"Thanks again for... y'know, getting me out of the Irene Dimension. You didn't have to..." I finished.
All of a sudden, (Y/n) stopped walking and turned to face me. Her face read seriousness.
"Garroth, I want you to listen to me" she said, holding my hands. Her knuckles were turning white and once she noticed this, she loosened her grip.
"Garroth" she stared again, " I care for you, Aphmau cares for you. Besides the fact that you've become my friend, I will do anything to get Irene to trust me and to remember who she was. She's one of the two people that I've got that I can actually call family."
Wow.
She then finished her words and continued forward, leaving me petrified by her words. She then turned around.
" You coming or what?" She asked. For some reason, it made her look even tougher than already was.
"Yeah" I simply said while jogging up to her.
Yeah.
Man. Sorry bros. I know that this chapter was short but trust me, it's worth it. I don't to spoil anything but let's just say that... Feelings will be triggered in the next chapter.Oh yes! Another thing that I wanted to point out was the music. Do you recognize it? I literally have all the episodes of MCD logged into my brain. This song was from Season 2 Episode 81 of Minecraft Diaries. I get it, it's sad... just... STOP MAKING ME CRY!
