You guys NEED to play this!!!!!
NOTE!: In this chapter, no matter how uncomfortable they are, you will begin to appreciate bras more.
Your Point of View:
I felt my left eye twitch as I stared intently at the man in front of me. I watched as he talked with Aphmau. It got my blood boiling. He was full out flirting with her, and she didn't even notice!
...Now that I think about it, Aaron sounds an awful lot like Shad.
Shad used to be a friend of mine. Once he received his relic, power consumed him. His title became his reality, and the reality of others. Destroying.
I didn't even notice I was giving Aaron the death glare behind his back until Garroth brought me back to reality. He slightly nudged my arm, causing me to turn my head slightly to him. He quickly glanced at Aaron before bringing his gaze back to me.
"I'll tell you later," I whispered quietly. Garroth nodded in response.
After a while of walking for a bit, Aphmau suggested that we split up into groups of two.
"Again? Don't you think it's a bit too dangerous for us to split up in smaller groups?" Garroth asked. Aphmau stood straight.
"It's only within our range. We shouldn't be going too far out of reach of each other. And besides," Aphmau looked at everyone of us before speaking again.
"I did request for my strongest combatants." I smirked. I was once again under Irene's control. But it was fine. Aphmau didn't seem as bossy.
"So, what are the groups," I asked. Aphmau bit her lip and shrugged.
"I guess that was the part I didn't think through." I slumped my shoulders downwards. All of a sudden, Aaron spoke up.
"Why don't Aphmau and Garroth explore northwest, and (Y/n) and I can explore southwest," he suggested. My eyes narrowed in confusion. Aphmau seemed to think a bit before nodding her head.
"Okay! That sounds great. Any objections?" I felt my left eye twitch again. It took everything in me to comply with Aphmau's wishes. Garroth took a step towards Aaron.
"I'm going to have to be able to trust you here. Please. If anything happens to her..." Garroth looked to the side and clenched his fists.
"If anything happens to her, I'll never forgive myself. And you certainly won't be someone that I'd trust ever again." Aaron nodded.
"Trust me. I won't let you down," he replied. Garroth nodded. He looked to me.
"Stay safe, okay?" I smiled and waved him off.
"I can protect myself! Don't worry, I'll be fine." I went up close to Garroth, and whispered in his ear.
"Maybe I'll even save Aaron from a dimension as well," I winked. Garroth just deadpanned and began to walk towards his assigned direction with Aphmau trailing behind him. I turned to Aaron.
"Shall we begin walking?" Aaron nodded.
It was an awkward silence between the both of us. We didn't talk at all. I speed walked in front Aaron. I didn't know why, but I felt extremely uncomfortable when it came to being next to him. I barely knew him either.
Although there was something about him... something familiar. He reminded me so much of Shad; usually calm and collected, quiet and mysterious...
I didn't notice I had been walking that fast until Aaron called my name from behind.
"Um, hey, (Y/n)? Do you mind slowing down a bit?" I scowled silently.
"I'm fine. I can take care of myself. Quit treating me like a bab- AH!!" I yelped as I fell down what seemed like a pit. I felt myself falling, falling, falling...
Instead of bracing myself for the impact of a potential hard landing, I flailed my arms and legs around crazily. There was no time to take a breath or think of what to do. Slow motion was no longer existent.
"(Y/n)!" I heard Aaron call. The pit I was falling through seemed bottomless.
Was this really the end?
I felt my foot entangle with something midair. My body was pulled back towards the wall of the deep pit; causing my body to collide with the tough rocky material. I looked up at my feet from my dangling position. A vine had gotten caught with my ankle.
"Help!" I screamed. I began to see black spots as they clouded my vision. Aaron bellowed back.
"I'll be right there (Y/n)! J-just give me a second," he stated, attempting to be firm with his words. At that second, the vine began to descend. The sound of a slight tear could be heard.
"Ah!!!" I cried. My stomach was exposed, allowing the cold air to rush against it. I shivered, only making my situation worse. With that, the vine snapped.
"Aaron!!!" I screamed. My strangled cries were becoming fainter as my vision began to fade; matching the dark atmosphere around me...
A/n: Do you love your bra now??? I don't. I bet this changes nothing...-Aliya.
P.S: Aren't cliffhangers the best?
