3rd Person
"My, my (Y/n). Time has been good to you my dear." Hyria said as she went to give (Y/n) a hug. (Y/n) hadn't remembered the last time she ever saw her. So many thoughts swirled in her mind within the little seconds that she hugged Hyria. It had been so long.
"Hyria! What brings you here?" (Y/n) asked as she broke away from the hug.
Aphmau looked up at Hyria. " I knew this would happen. After all, I do know you."
Hyria nodded. "But I think I know you better." She replied as she helped Aphmau up from the ground.
(Y/n)'s world suddenly started to spin. She abruptly fell to the ground, landing on her hands and knees.
"Will she be okay?" Aphmau asked as she turned to Hyria.
What? (Y/n) thought as she continued to look up at them. Just a second ago, Aphmau barely knew Hyria. Now, they were talking as if they were the best of friends.
"What shall we do with her?" (supposedly) Irene asked. Hyria exhaled a deep breath that she never knew she was holding.
"(Y/n)," She said boldly, "you are in the middle of a vision. Once you wake up, I ask you to not be afraid. This is to help you. This your guide. Garroth... a descendant of Esmund himself-"
"What!?" You shouted, cutting Hyria off.
I remember Esmund. One of the strongest of the divine. You thought.
"(Y/n), once you awake from your slumber, you are to read about the divine, despite your great connection with them. You and Irene have the same power. You have watched your friends die. You have seen war. Your mission is to get Aphmau back. Restore her personality. Please."
Once Hyria was done talking, she waited for your reply. You nodded your head.
You then looked to Irene.
"So... this was all an act... a dream? You don't really have your powers back... do you?" You asked, although you already knew the answer.
"I am afraid so." Irene replied. All of a sudden, your vision started to get spotty,
"She will awake." Hyria said. "And once she awakens, she has some teaching to do. Some teachings to so about the legends of Irene.
You then fell into a deep abyss.
Your P.O.V:
I found it weird to have to wake up a second time. Except, this time it was real... or at least I hoped.
I woke up to see myself beside...no one actually! I turned to face the ceiling and realized that I didn't have a house in Phoenix Drop.
Where am I? I asked myself as I got out of bed. Wait, this was the room that Garroth and I danced in. Which means the dance was not dream! I was probably in the guard tower.
I did a small happy dance, but ended up tripping on a piece of paper.
Nope. I thought. Being graceful and keeping composure can only work for one day. I picked up the piece of paper, only to find that it was a note.
Dear (Y/n),
I went out for guard duty. Since you don't have a house yet, I decided to let you sleep in my room. Love you,
Garroth.
I blushed. I felt like such a girl today. I'm supposed to composed... eloquent. Not blush-y or excited. I am a tough person but exquisite at the same time.
I took deep breaths before straightening myself, and marching out the door. I turned a few corners before running into Ir-Aphmau...
"(Y/n)! Gah, you scared me. What are you doing here?" She asked.
'Oh! I'm just here to tell you that you have to listen to me, and I'm not as crazy as I seem.'
That was what I wanted to say. Instead I just shrugged. Why? I do not know.
Aphmau looked at me weirdly before passing behind me and knocking on a door.
I blinked. She's so mean! I inwardly whined. Do I have to really do this? Maybe I could go to another village and take Garroth with me?
No.
I had to do this. After all, it was originally what I came for.
I decided to go to the library near by. I was on my way there, until I ran into... Cadenza? I think that was her name.
"Hello! You must be (Y/n). I have heard so much about you! *Gasp*! You're the one who brought Garroth back from the Irene Dimension! My name is Cadenza by the way!"
Cadenza took a breather. I was officially blown away by how many words she said in one setting. Her excitement was so... overwhelming.
"Uh... hi?" I replied. I just stood there like a dry lemon under the sun.
"Hey! Why don't I take you to my house to get cleaned up, and I can get you some new clothes?" She asked. I had noticed I was still wearing my dress from the other night which was quite embarrassing. That's why I was earning a lot of stares from the villagers. I was also in desperate need of a shower.
"Yeah, that would be much needed. Thank you so much!" I said as I followed her to her house.
I guess the library would have to wait. I thought as I made my way through the door way.
A/n: Wow! It's been months since I updated this book. I just wanted to see if people were reading this book. Plus, I have a Laurance x Reader to write. My goal for today is to update as many books as I can. Thank you so much for reading. This book will not be coming down anytime soon.
