2nd Person Point of View:
"We sensed it coming from this part in the forest," Aphmau stated as she lifted a guiding arm towards the area. You looked around closely before turning to Katrina, who stood behind you.
"You say you felt an ominous feeling as well?" you asked. Katrina nodded.
"Yeah, last night. Although, I didn't feel it as much later on. The feeling sort of... died down." You slowly took all of this information in.
Earlier that day, Garroth and had informed you of the ominous feeling both him and Aphmau were getting from a certain part of the forest. Katrina had reported the same problem as well, which lead your theory to be correct.
Enki's presence really was lurking around.
"This... this might be more serious than I thought," you trailed off while looking into the distance. You looked back at the people who accompanied you: Aphmau, Garroth, Katrina, and Laurance.
Garroth grabbed your hand and gave you a reassuring look. "Don't worry. Whatever Enki is planning-- it shouldn't be anything we can't handle. We'll figure this out together. There's no need to rack your brain on this situation." You smiled and squeezed Garroth's hand lightly. He always knew just what to say.
'Gosh, I love him so much,' you thought.
"You're right," you replied, a bit more convinced that that there was a contrary for every bad turn. Everything would be just fine. Laurance cleared his throat before speaking up.
"Is anybody else hungry? We haven't eaten anything since the break of dawn," he commented. Katrina nodded.
"Yeah, I'm starving." Aphmau chuckled in response. "Maybe we should make our way back to the ship. We actually have a lot of things that need to be done for the island. I plan on starting the basics today," she suggested. You nodded.
"Right. I'll try and investigate a bit more into the current situation at hand while the peninsula is being maintained. It's as simple as that; two birds, one stone," you finished. You were already beginning to plan your next course of action. You'd ask Garroth to help you investigate. Possibly Aaron as well...
Aphmau stood tall (A/n: no matter what you do, you're still short Aphmau... like me...), and complied with your reasoning.
"Of course. Let's get going then."
Laurance's Point of View:
"Hey guys! You're finally back!" Ruby exclaimed. I chuckled.
"Yes, we're back, and we're starving," I replied. Ruby gestured to the crates filled with food.
"You know what to do Laurance," she orated sarcastically. I rolled my eyes before opening a crate. Ruby followed shortly after.
'Oh no.'
"So," she started. "What else happened last night after I left?" she asked inquisitively. I sent her a weird stare before closing the wooden receptacle and making my way over to the ship deck. Ruby still continued to follow.
I turned around in slight aggravation and sighed as I faced Ruby, who seemed expectant for her answer.
"Nothing," I responded after a while. I continued towards the edge of the deck. Ruby laughed softly.
