"Can we get McDonalds? That'll help me feel better." I laughed as Zayn drove away.

"Yeah if you want, You haven't got any better at dealing with hangovers then?" He chuckled. "I always was the better drinker!"

"Whatever." I rolled my eyes. "I've missed you Zayn, I'm glad you're home."

"I've missed you too Mel." He said ruffling my hair. "Cheers for letting me stay."

"Well I can't let you go stay with mum and dad. I'm a better sister than that." I laughed.

"I'll be gone again by thursday I think so I'll be out of your hair soon."

"I wish you didn't work so far away." I frowned.

"Me too but you know I'm never too far away if you need anything, I'll always be there for you, you know that Mel." He smiled.

I guess I did know that. Zayn was the one that helped me through the breakup with Jack. He was always reassuring me that what I was doing was okay. He's always been there for me, whatever I've needed and I hate not having him closer. We were inseparable when we were younger and we never really fought like brother and sister either. We've always been like bestfriends, which is why I hated Zayn moving away. I had got used to it now but I still always wish I could see him more.

We walked into McDonalds and Zayn ordered our food.

"McDonalds is such a perfect hangover cure." I said taking a bite of my burger.

He shook his head and laughed. "Where's your fella then?"

"Home? I don't know." I shrugged. "Why?"

"Just wondered, when will I get to meet him?"

"I don't know." I repeated. "We aren't serious though, he isn't even my boyfriend." I laughed.

"I know, I just wanna know who's looking after my little sister when I'm not around."

"I can look after myself you know, I'm 20 soon!" I grinned.

"I know I know, I just worry about you thats all." He shrugged.

I knew he would be worried when I got my own place. He is really protective over me, he was even when we were kids. He'd warn all my boyfriends and make sure they weren't gunna fuck me over, which annoyed me alot when I was younger but now, I'm glad I have someone like that. My dad always said he'd look out for me and protect me but he never really did. He always went into everything half-heartedly and he didn't really care about what I did or who I was with. He kind of said he would be there thinking it was okay because he had said it, but he never actually was; which is why Zayn is the constant male figure in my life and not my dad, even though Zayn is only a year and a half older than me.

When we got back home, Zayn went to meet some of his old friends. I laid on the sofa watching 'Friends' even though I'd seen every episode about 20 times already.

I hadn't heard from Harry all day, not once, so I pulled out my phone and text him. *Are you okay?*

An hour and a half had past since I text Harry and he still hadn't replied. What the hell was he doing and why wasn't he replying? I continued to watch TV but I didn't really focus on it, because I just really wanted to know where Harry was.

After 2 hours since texting Harry I grabbed my keys and went to his house. I wasn't going to, incase he just didn't want to see me or something but then I remembered the time he followed me home from work which justified me going round there without him knowing.

I knocked on the door and a few seconds later Louis pulled it open.

"Mel." He smiled. "Come in."

I stepped inside and saw Niall lying on the sofa. I scanned the room for Harry but he wasn't there.

"Is Harry here?" I ask.

"No, We thought he was with you?" Louis said with his eyebrows raised.

"No? I haven't seen him since I left here yesterday morning."

"He went out yesterday about 6ish and didn't come back home, we thought he had stayed at yours?"

"I had Hannah stay at mine last night so he wasn't with me. I haven't heard from him all day and I text him about 2 hours but he didn't reply, I thought he'd be here." I frowned.

"I have no idea, he might be working? He sometimes goes away for work over night, or he might of gone out and crashed at a mates." Niall shrugged.

"Yeah... maybe. Sorry, I should go."

Louis pulled me into a hug. "Don't worry Mel, He'll be fine. He'll be back soon."

I headed towards the door and drove back home. I was a little bit worried about Harry even though I tried not to be. It wouldn't be so bad if he was answering his phone.

I sat at home just subconsciously thinking about him.

It doesn't matter he's not your boyfriend.

He could still answer his phone.

I wonder what he's doing?

why would he go out and not tell Louis or Niall?

All these thoughts were rushing around my head as the doorbell rang. I knew I should of given Zayn my spare key. I turned the handle and opened the door.

"Sorry I should of- Harry?!"

"Louis and Niall said you came over, I'm sorry. I stayed at a mates house and my phone had no battery and-" He was talking at 100 miles an hour.

"Harry, it's okay, I'm fine. I was just worried about you that's all. I just wanted to make sure you was okay."

"Worried about me? Why? I wasn't doing anything."

"I know Harry? You just wasn't answering your phone and when I went to your house Niall and Louis said they thought you were with me, I don't know I just wanted to make sure you was alright that's all."

Harry took a deep breath and smiled. "Yeah course, I'm sorry."

"Stop apologising, you have nothing to be sorry for, Are you coming in or?"

"Yeah." He pulled me into a hug and I felt him relax.

"Did you have a good night last night?" He asked sitting on the sofa.

"Yeah it was good." I smiled. "Er, Do you still talk to Liam?"

"Sometimes yeah, we only ever talk like once a month though because phone calls to Spain aren't cheap." He smiled.

"I wanna speak to him, is he coming back here to visit anytime soon?"

"I don't know, I haven't spoken to him for a few weeks, you can have his number if you want I guess. I take it it's to do with Hannah?"

"Yeah, she's still so upset she really wants to see him again but I don't know if he feels the same. Does he ever speak about her?"

"He did when he first moved, like to see how she was and stuff but I never knew the answer so eventually he stopped asking. I hadn't seen her since they split until I saw her round here." He shrugged. He pulled out his phone and jotted a number on a piece of paper. "Here."

"Thanks." I smiled. "What was you up to last night then?"

"Just had a few drinks and crashed on a mates sofa, no biggy." He smiled. "I'm sorry do you mind if I go home? I'm still hungover and I feel awful, I just wanted to see if you was okay."

"Er, no its fine. I know how you feel." I couldn't help but feel disappointed at the fact Harry wanted to leave so soon. He seemed so pre-occupied and he had only just got here.

He headed towards the door and I followed him out. "Harry, have I upset you?" I frowned.

He cupped my face and pushed my hair back. "No pretty girl, I'm just tired."

"Okay." I smiled. He lowered his face and pressed his lips again mine, our tongues briefly meeting.

All my worries melted away as I opened my eyes again.

"I'll see you tomorrow Melanie." He almost whispered. With that, he kissed my forehead and walked away.
