Me and Harry lounged around at a beach all day until the sun went in and then drank champagne in the pool until 9pm. We decided to go out. 'Experience the American night life' as Harry put it.

I slipped on my birthday dress, getting Harry to zip up the back. I forgot how much I loved this dress until I put it on again. It amazes me that 4 boys picked it out.

"I don't know what to wear." Harry whined as I applied my lipstick.

I walked over to the wardrobe and thumbed through his clothes. I picked out some black skinny jeans (nice ones without rips in the knees) and a thin black shirt that you could see through if you looked at him at a certain angle. Whenever he wore it, he would leave the first few buttons undone and it looked amazing... plus you could see his tattoos showing through, which I loved. I laid the clothes on the bed and he grinned at me.

"What would I do without you?" He said as he buttoned up his jeans. "Even though my knee's can't breath anymore." He laughed lightly and couldn't help but laugh with him.

He pulled on his trusty black boots and smiled. "Ready baby? The taxi's here."

"I guess so. The American night life won't wait for us." I smirked.

He looked at me and tried not to laugh. "You're not funny Melanie."

We stopped at a club called 'Lake Nona' and I brushed my dress down as I climbed out of the taxi door Harry had held open for me. It seemed like security guards here were the same as back home. When we walked into the club, they flicked their eyes down to my chest and let me walk in, yet they made Harry show ID... which I suppose was good considering I wasn't legally allowed to be drinking in this country and Harry was. I walked into the lobby of the club and waited for Harry.

"Ah happy birthday bro." The young security guard said, patting Harrys back.

I spun around and Harry nodded at the guard awkwardly.

"What did he just say?!" I said to Harry with my brow creased.

I grabbed the ID card from Harry before he stashed it back in his pocket. Todays date. My face fell and I looked back up at him.

"Harry?! Why didn't you tell me?"

He sighed and took the card back from me. "I didn't want you to get me anything. I didn't want you fussing over me. I've never really liked birthdays anyway, not since my dad died."

"But you got me presents. Didn't you think I'd ask about it at some point?" I frowned.

"Well yeah but it wouldn't of mattered by then." He shrugged. "I didn't want you to-"

"No Harry that's not the point, it's your birthday."

He wrapped his arm around my waist and smiled. "I know and I've got you, you're a better birthday present than anything you could buy for me! And we're in America! There's nothing you could get me to top this."

I smiled but I was still a little disappointed he didn't tell me. "Well, happy birthday." I pouted.

"Thankyou." He nodded. "I love you baby."

"I love you too."

He kissed my lips and smiled at me, causing all my annoyance towards him to float away. He was good at doing that.

It was quite busy inside the club and very hot. We headed straight over to the bar and got 5 shots of vodka each.

"May aswell go big." Harry smirked taking his first shot.
