After a few hours there was a knock on my bedroom door and Hannah walked in with a huge smile on her face and her eyes puffy, probably from all the crying!
"Mel can I speak to you?" She asked.
"Yeah, course you can." I smiled.
I looked at Harry and he quickly got up.
"I'll go find Liam." He said kissing my forehead.
Once Harry had left the room, she sat down next to me and hugged me tight.
"I know you called him, I know you picked him up today, I know you had this planned just to surprise me. I can't thank you enough." She croaked.
"After the night you cried and said you wanted to hug him again, that was it. I knew I had to do something. I was so worried that it wouldn't all go to plan but seeing your face when you saw Liam was priceless."
"You're the best friend ever Mel." She said as tears began to fall from her eyes again.
I wiped them away and smiled.
"Stop crying Hannah, you're the strong one out of us two remember."
She stiffled a laugh and nudged my arm. "You're the strong one Mel... It's just made me think, ya know, like when my mum and dad died-"
"Hannah don't do this, don't upset yourself." I frowned.
"No I need to say this. You was there for me wasn't you? You was the one that pulled me through it and when Liam left me and I was a complete mess for months and months, you never gave up on me; You pulled me through that too and now you've brought him back from Spain just to make me happy. I'm not strong Mel, not really. You make me strong."
A tear rolled down my cheek and I smiled at her, sqeezing her hand and she hugged me again.
"Thanks Mel, I wouldn't be anything without you." She whispered.
We sat in silence for a few minutes, with our arms wrapped around eachother, occasionally sniffling.
"What do do you think about me and Harry?" I whispered.
"You're perfect together Mel, You're glowing when you're around him. You was never this happy with Jack the whole two years you were together!" She smiled. "He's your boyfriend now. He's yours. Don't doubt him, he's a good guy, you know that."
"Yeah, you're right. He's my boyfriend." I beamed.
She smiled back at me and squeezed my hands.
"Hannah?!" Liam called from downstairs.
She grinned from ear to ear.
"Melanie?!" Harry called.
We laughed at eachothers tear stained face and made ourselves look presentable again before heading downstairs.
"We thought you'd got lost." Harry laughed, snaking an arm around my waist. He kissed the side of my head and held me closed.
"We're going home." He said.
"What? Why?"
"You're coming too, You can stay over if you want. You too Hannah."
Hannah nodded and Liam wrapped his arms around her waist, kissing the top of her head.
"I'm gunna go back to mine then to get my stuff, I'll meet you guys there?"
"I'll come with you." Liam smiled at her.
"If we leave now, we'll meet you there." Harry said to Liam.
He looked at me and I nodded.
I went upstairs and shoved some stuff in a bag which Harry carried downstairs for me.
"Ready pretty girl?" He asked.
"Yeah." I said grabbing my keys.
He put his arm around my waist and kissed me, our tongues brushing against eachother.
"What was that for?" I smiled.
"There doesn't have to be a reason remember Melanie?" He said quietly.
"I said that when we had our first kiss." I smiled.
I ran the pad of my finger over his bottom lip, smiling at the thought of my red lipstick on his lips.
"That lipstick was hard to get off aswell." He grinned, obviously thinking about what I was.
I giggled and kissed his cheek. "C'mon."
He grabbed my hand and we headed to Harrys car.
We crawled inside and his eyes narrowed, as always, as he pulled away.
He's my boyfriend. He's mine.
I smiled to myself and Harry rested his hand on my thigh.
