"Hannah?" I called when I stepped through the door.
"In here Mel." She replied from the living room.
I took a deep breath and wondered in.
"Jesus Mel, what's wrong?!" She ran over to me and wrapped her arms around my body.
Before I could even reply, fresh tears ran down my face and she stayed quiet, letting me cry, rocking me back and forth.
"I'm sorry." I sniffled once I could talk again.
"Don't be sorry, do you wanna talk about it Mel?"
I nodded and we walked over to the sofa, I wiped my eyes on a tissue and took deep breaths, stopping any more tears falling, unwelcomingly, down my cheeks.
"Its Harry." I started. "That night we got drunk at my place... He told me that he went to a bar and got drunk and crashed on friends sofa. He said that he didn't answer my text because his phone was out of charge." I looked down and my knotted fingers. "He lied to me. He slept with Chelsea that night, then spent the weekend with me like nothing had happened. He humiliated me. Chelsea swanned in the coffee shop happy to tell me she slept with him. Why would he do that Hannah? I thought he was different. He told me he hated her!"
"Fuck Mel, I'm so sorry. Chelsea fucking Wright though, that bitch." She gritted her teeth.
"Yeah, Chelsea fucking Wright." I whispered, wiping my eyes on the tissue again.
"I'm so sorry Mel. Have you spoken to Harry about it?"
"Yeah I've just came from his house. He said he was drunk and it was just a mistake."
"That's not a good enough excuse for cheating on you is it? What a bastard."
"But that's it, I don't even think he cheated on me. Me and Harry were never official which is why I don't know what to do. I don't know if I'll be able to trust him again. I really like him though Hannah." I frowned.
"Oh Mel..." She said hugging me close. "Did you ask him why he didn't tell you the truth?"
"Yeah he said it was because he didn't want me to find out, because he still wanted to be with me." I shrugged. "We basically was boyfriend and girlfriend just without actually saying so. We stayed at eachother's house, we went on dates, we spent so much time together, we had sex... like good sex not just a quick bang. I'm so confused. He didn't cheat on me, not really because we never said we was in a relationship, it just felt like he has cheated on me because of how we've been with eachother." I sighed and rubbed my head. "I'm not sure that even made sense. I don't know what makes sense to be honest. What the fuck am I gunna do? Zayn will kill him if he finds out, just for making me upset."
"Don't tell Zayn. He doesn't need to know... and I don't think you want to see Harry dead just yet." She laughed lightly and I did too. "Maybe spend some time away from Harry for abit, get your head clear. Think about what you want, for you, to make you happy. Then talk to him about everything, because you will need to talk."
I nodded and wiped my eyes again.
"It would be easier if you made your relationship clearer!" She laughed.
"I know, trust me to get in this mess." I sighed again and put my hair into a hair bobble. "Im gunna go home and sort myself out." I attemped to smile. "I can't be doing with going back to work."
"No go home, call me if you need anything or come over anytime." She smiled, wiping makeup away from under my eyes. I hugged her tight.
"Thanks Hannah."
I walked out of her house and towards my car, breathing in the cool air around me.
