Her rosebud lips were coated with a thin layer of cherry lip gloss that he knew too well.

Her usual blonde curls were tame and straight, he loved her hair either way. The glimmer of mischief in her eyes sparkled and he wondered if only he noticed these things.

The expression on her face was one he thought had always been reserved for him. A look of admiration, trust, and pure giddiness. So he had to admit that it bothered him when he saw her with that priceless expression on her face, looking up at someone else.

He hadn't noticed when his jaw clenched and his fists curled up until his knuckles were white. Josh was confused, he hadn't normally felt like this and he wasn't sure how to handle it.

So he turned on his heel and walked away from her, frustration forming in his mind. He nervously scratched the back of his head as he walked out of Topanga's, hoping she hadn't seen him.
