"Morgan, seriously just stop!"
Josh swatted at his head as his older sister jokingly messed up his dark brown hair.
"What's the matter Josh? Don't want to be embarrassed?" She mocked in a childish voice.
Josh felt his cheeks burning. She was mostly right, but his face still felt hot.
"Would you please just stop messing up my hair?" He begged, backing away from her quickly.
Morgan suppressed a giggle and folded her arms over her stomach.
"Come on Josh, girls dig the messy hair!" Morgan teased, attempting to ruffle his head of hair once more.
Josh swiftly dodged her grasp and began running up the stairs to his room. Ever since that day at Topanga's, Josh had realized he had started acting more self conscious and insecure.
His quick steps stopped at the top of the staircase as he became lost in his own thoughts.
He quickly realized it was a mistake when he heard his sister's footsteps pounding behind him.
"It's a girl isn't it?!" He heard her shout as she bolted up the steps.
Josh wouldn't admit it, partially because he hadn't realized it himself at the time.
Not quite yet.
