Your PoV~

"Miss (y/n) (l/n)?" I nervously rise from my seat and Levi, Isabel, farlen and Hanji give me a warm smile, well Levi doesn't exactly smile but you know what I mean.

"You'll be great (y/n) " farlen whispers

"Yeah go get'em (y/n) !" Isabel says giving me a thumbs up. I give them a weak smile back and pick up my grade eight piano book.

"This way" the lady says ushering me towards a light brown door. She knocks and a voice sounds from inside. She opens the door and pushes me inside briskly shutting the door behind her leaving me trapped inside. I look at the examiner, he had bright ginger hair, orange almost, with stunning green eyes.

"Hi, you must be (y/n) (l/n), take a seat" he had a thick Irish accent which amused me slightly. I took a seat at the black grand piano and adjusted the stool to the correct height.

"Ok (y/n), would you like to do your scales or pieces first?" He asked sweetly with a smile etched on his face.

"Umm, sc-scales first ple-please..." I whisper but loud enough for him to hear.

"Ok, (y/n)! In your own time, could you play a C sharp minor scale largo please " I nod and take a deep breath, closing my eyes and whispering my special words

"musica libertatem animae meae..." I place my hands on the correct notes and let them slide up and then down the piano gracefully and smoothly. He gave me a few more arpeggios, chromatic and contrary-motion scales to play.

"Ok that's great (y/n), if you could please proceed to your pieces please and you may start in your own time" he says smiling at me again, I had started to settle slightly. My muscles where less tense and my hands less shaky. I open up to my A section piece and begin to play letting the notes flow into the air. 'Hear me play' I think 'hear ME play, not the composer, hear me play this piece. You may of heard these pieces a thousand times today, but you won't hear them played like this ever again. Because I will make them my own' I let my heart, soul and passion flow into the piano keys letting the music resonate through the room and bounce of the walls. The room may of had terrible acoustics but right now wasn't the time to be a fussy musician. The time was now and it was not to be wasted.

Levi's PoV~

"How much longer is she gonna be?" Hanji whines

"Probably not much longer but each piece is probably like ten minutes long" Farlen says calmly.

"Tch, let's just hope the brat doesn't screw up"

"Wow, thanks for the confidence boost Levi" I turn around to meet her (e/c) eyes looking down into my grey ones

"(Y/N)!" Hanji and Isabel yell jumping onto (y/n) and tackling her onto the floor, causing some glares from the other participants. Farlen chuckles and embraces (y/n) in a hug.

"So how did it go?" Isabel asks practically jumping up and down.

"Let's go sit down in a café or something then I'll explain when I have some food infront of me" she chuckles. We get back inside farlen's car and drive to the nearest café, stopping out side of a shop called coffee corner. (Y/n) runs inside immediately ordering a hot chocolate with cream AND marshmallows and not forgetting a double chocolate chip muffin.

"Christ (y/n), how much sugar do you need?" Hanji says laughing and sitting next to her with a cup of coffee.

"I just took a freaking grade eight piano exam what do you expect me to eat, a salad?!" (Y/n) exclaims causing Hanji and Isabel to burst into a fit of laughter.

"So anyway the main reason we came here was for you too tell us how it went, sooo...." Isabel says leaning forward gazing at (y/n) intently.

"Yeah it went good"

"WAAAA?!?! Is that all we get?! 'Good'?!" Hanji exclaims disappointed by (y/n)s answer.

"I don't care about if I think I got through or anything else. I'm just happy another person heard me play my music" she says simply. Hanji Isabel and farlen stare at her slightly annoyed but sigh and roll their eyes moving on.

"I'll guess we'll just have to see what the results are later" I say trying to calm everyone down. I watch (y/n) wistfully as she slurps on her hot cocoa and munches on her muffin. She may eat like a fucking pig, crumbs and cream smothered around her face, but she still manages to look beautiful. The way the light shines through the window and reflects of her silken hair, and the way her (e/c) glitter and shimmer in the light making them look like stars.

Time skip~

Your PoV~

"BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BE-"

"Ok ok, I'm awake" I yawn and stretch sliding my legs out of bed and strolling over to my cupboard where my uniform lies. I take it out and slip the items over my head, lightly brushing the knots out of my hair with a tangle teaser. I dash downstairs and make myself some toast with jam, after I finished my brisk breakfast I grabbed my rucksack and headed to Levi's house.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

"Levi!~ it's time to go! Come on!" I shout

"Christ sake, I'm coming, calm down " he says rolling his eyes.

"Well don't blame me if we miss the train" I mock.

Time skip~

After making it to school on time Levi comes with me to the music block to check if my instrument are safe.

"(Y/n)!" I turn around to see Erwin chasing after me down the music block corridor.

"There's a small concert tonight, it's a really chilled one only twenty odd parents come, and I need one more person to play one or two pieces . Can you do it for me?"

"Yeah sure, I'll do a piano piece and sing of that's ok, and what time does it start and finish?"

"That's great and it starts at seven finishes and eight half eight-ish,"

"Ok that's all good, I'll see you there" I give a final wave to me Erwin before I turn to Levi with a grin.

"So, how do you feel about attending a concert tonight?"
