Erens pov~

Me, Mikasa, Armin and Jean ran down the corridors, the floor squeaking beneath our feet. Levi had rung us late last night about the accident and he said that if we wanted to visit it would have to be during the day. I didn't sleep at all, I was too worried about (y/n), Levi told us there was a possibility that she might not make it. We slowed down as we reached (y/n)s room, Mikasa stepped in front of me and opened the door. (Y/n) was sitting upright in bed, her back against her pillow, farlen had just cracked some joke and (y/n) was laughing. You could tell it was painful to laugh for her, the way her (e/c) eyes watered slightly and how she tightly gripped the sheets. She was in pain, and lots of it too. Everyone (except Levi of course) stopped laughing and turned to face me and the others. I had a death glare from farlen and Isabel, a 'tch' from Levi, Hanji, well, Hanji was just Hanji and a welcoming and beaming smile from (y/n). Jean sat down in a chair and let the (f/c) 'get well soon!' Balloon float up into the air making (y/n) laugh and smile again.

"Hey! I wasn't expecting anyone else to visit!" She said happily. Mikasa walked up to her and hugged her tightly. She then handed (y/n) a card and some chocolates.

"Thanks Mikasa, you really didn't have to!" She says gratefully.

"I was so worried about you, you're like a sister to me (y/n)" Mikasa said tearing up slightly.

"Aww Mikasa! Your gonna start me off soon" (y/n) says laughing and wiping a tear away from her eye. Armin, who was standing at the end of (y/n)s bed, walks up to her with a light pink dusting on his cheeks and handed her some roses which she put in a jug with some other flowers.

"Thank you Armin, they're beautiful" she said admiring the collection of flowers.

"So How are you feeling?" I say walking up to her and giving her a hug earning a few more death glares.

"Sore, but ok, Levi saved my life!" Everyone turned to look at Levi.

"Tch, I didn't do anything..." He murmurs

"He did CPR on me and called (country's emergency number) aswell as helping another man who was in the car"

"Wait, so you basically died!" Jean says briskly standing up shocked.

"Yeah... I guess I did..." She says rubbing her hand behind her neck nervously.

"Shit (y/n)... How serious was this crash?!" I say

"Probably pretty bad, the last thing I remember was pushing Levi to the side of the road and feeling a pain zip through my body. Then everything went black"

"So you also saved Levi?!" Armin says slightly confused by the situation

"Nah, not really, just instincts-

"Yes, she did save my life" Levi interrupts getting up from his seat and helping (y/n) sit a bit straighter.

"You want or need anything?" He asks

"I'm good thanks Levi" she says smiling sweetly at him.

"I wish I could have Levi wait on me hand and foot" Hanji says smirking.

"Tch I'm not"

"Just ignore her Levi, you know what she's like" Isabel says grinning.

"So, when are they planning on discharging you?" Jean asks

"Well I can't walk yet and I won't be able to for quite a while yet. And my organs are still pretty messed up so I won't be coming out any time soon basically" she says looking down at her pale hands on her lap and giving a sad smile.

"Do you have to have anymore ops?" Armin asks sadly.

"Yeah I have one more next week to just remove any bits of metal or chemicals that may be in my liver from the crash" a nurse walks in and gives us All a warm smile.

"Hi, I'm sorry but I've got to give (y/n) her check up, if you could just wait outside momentarily then we will call you back in"

Your PoV~

I hate these check ups, they give me so many injections and change the needles in my hands and arms. It's so painful. I just want someone's hand to hold... Before I can stop myself I have grabbed Levi's wrist and stopped him from walking out the door.

"Can he stay with me... Please..." The nurse sighs and smiles

"Ok fine, the rest have to wait outside though" I nod and the others go stand outside. Levi helps me lay back down in bed and pulls up a chair. He holds my hand and I squeeze it as the nurse flicks the end of the needle and pulls up the sleeve of my pijamas.

"Ok I'll be doing four injections today (y/n) and replacing the cannula on the back of your hand and thigh." I nod and she starts to count down from three.

"Three... Two.... One..." I squeeze my eyes shut and tightly grip Levi's hand hissing with pain. A tear falls from the corner of my eye and Levi wipes it away with his smooth thumb. We continued the process an finally got to injection four. At this stage I was crying.

"Shush, it's almost over..." Levi says calmly, stroking the back of my left hand. The lady took my right hand and took the sticky tape off revealing the cannula needle protruding into my hand. It looked odd to see a large tube sticking out of my hand running chemicals and medicines into my body.

"Ok (y/n), this will hurt for a bit but it will soon be over, it's not as bad on your leg" I nod trying to blink away the tears which I failed to do so. She started to remove the needle, you could feel the tube being removed from your skin, feeling it slide away from you. I don't think I have ever held someone's hand so tightly before, I wouldn't be surprised if his hand fell off soon. She briskly got another cannula needle out and put it on the same place as the last one.

"There we go! Your hand is all done just your leg and we're fine" I nodded and Levi kept stroking the back of my hand. She dealt with my leg, the same process as my hand, with just as much pain.

"All finished. I'll get your friends to come back in." I weakly nod, exhausted from the painful experience and my friends re enter the room. Levi helped me sit up properly again and I loudly signed.

"You ok?" Armin asks concerned

"Yeah... I'm good" I Murmur sleepily. Everyone stays a bit longer until eren, Mikasa, Armin and Jean had to leave. They said their goodbyes and I leaned back into the bed yawning.

"Do you want to sleep?" Levi asks. I nod and Levi helps me lay down.

"You guy can go home if you want I don't want to keep you stuck in a hospital all week."

"Are you sure (y/n) ?" Hanji asks

"Sure I'm sure! Any ways you guys haven't slept since the accident so go sleep and eat I'll see you again soon" they nod and smile at me, saying their goodbyes until I realise Levi was still here.

"Aren't you going levi?" I say looking at him my eyes half shut now .

"I'm never leaving you ever again...." And before I can tell him to go home and sleep he falls into one on the edge of my bed. I smile and shut my own eyes letting darkness overcome my vision.
