Teach Me {Levi x musical Reader [AU]}

Levi pov~

"Baby all I want for christmaaaaassss is you~" I hear (y/n) sweetly sing along to Mariah Carey's famous Christmas song and smile. I pulled a beautiful green wreath out of the box, a red bow adorned the top of the wreath and small white flowers where dotted among the greenery of the wreath. I hung it on the front door and walked back inside into the warm.

"Hey Levi, can you help me put up these lights please?" (Y/n) shouts from the kitchen. I walk in and see her tangled among the Christmas lights along with her crutches.

"Tch, how did you get into this mess?!" I ask trying to unravel her.

"They were all neatly wrapped up one minute and the next I'm trying to pick a fight with them!" She giggles. I untangle her and put the lights on the table

"Where do you want them?"

"You see the nails that kinda zig zag across the room? Well I usually hang them on them." I nod a grab a stool precariously standing on it, hanging up the string of lights. I move from nail to nail creating a the zig zag effect of lights (y/n) had told me about.

"That's great Levi ! Thank you!" She hopped on her crutches over to the light switch and flicked the lights on. The lights shone like fireflys across the room, it looked beautiful.

"So what did you do Levi?"

"Well come see..." She raises an eyebrow and follows behind me into the hallway that leads into the music room, TV room and the first flight of stairs. On the stairs I had wrapped a green garland through the banisters and hung baubles on it.

"Wow Levi! It looks beautiful!"

"I haven't showed you the music room yet" she smiles and I open the door for her to let her through. I look at her face which was lit by the Christmas lights, she was smiling and tears brimmed her eyes.

"You don't like it?!"

"I....I love it!" I smile and she gives me a wobbly hug, standing on one foot and wrapping her arms round me. I hugged her back before she pulled away to marvel the scene again. There was a small glass chandelier  in the centre of the room where I  had hung a small green garland that had the same white flowers as the wreath. There was a fire place where I had placed candles of different heights and widths. Over the fire place was wooden beam where I had hung another garland, this one was more natural. It had pine cones, flowers, red berries and fairy lights dotted in it. But what really caught her eye was the piano. I had laid white fairy lights over the top of the piano and I had another set of lights weave in between the many photo graphs that had been placed on top of the piano. There was small nut cracker dolls placed randomly and smaller; bush like garlands had been placed either side with a single red candle in the middle of it and red berries and flowers on the green garland.

"Thank you so much Levi, I feel like this Christmas is gonna be a special one" she says resting her head on my shoulder.

"Yeah..."

"Can you help me write my Christmas invitations?" She asks me sweetly

"Yeah sure" we go into the kitchen and grab two pens and a bunch of Christmas cards, sitting down at the table.
