Summer 2016
Everything about this vacation should be absolutely perfect. Nothing should go wrong at all, I've been planning it for months and it should all go smoothly and absolutely perfect.
I looked over to my left and saw Cristy singing her lungs out to the spice girls. Her blonde hair flips through the wind as she drives through the private road in the forest that'll lead us to our destination. Her green eyes shine brighter than emeralds and her perfect white skin makes me envy her just a little.
I close my eyes and try to enjoy myself for just a second, that's all I get. I let the cool air hit my face and tangle my hair as it flies back, the smell of pine trees and dirt filled my nose. We picked the perfect place. But as I said before I only get a second before responsibilities that are back home fill my head again. That's all I needed, just a second.
I looked in the rear window and Alice was singing along as well. Her pink lipstick strained her perfect lips and it almost seemed as if her perfect teeth were sparkling. Her caramel colored hair flew back so smoothly.
"Loosen up Bailey" Cristy said as she lightly punched my shoulder.
I smiled a bit and looked at the road ahead of us. The Cabin started appearing through the pine trees. I covered my ears as Alice squealed from the back seat, "there it is!"
Cristy pulled into the driveway of the enormous cabin. This looks more like a house than an actual cabin. It's beautiful.
"It was worth every penny" Cristy said breathless as we got out the car.
I took off my sunglasses and admired my surroundings. The trees were all around me and the amazing smell was mesmerizing, the cabin was so beautiful, the wood looked polished and shiny, the sky was a pinkish color like cotton candy.
"This is all ours for two months!" Cristy yelled.
We grabbed our bags from the trunk and walked up the pathway. I opened the door and took the first step in.
"Let the summer begin!" Alice yelled as she ran in and dropped her bags on the floor.
Cristy ran inside after her and began running and jumping around. I closed the door and dropped my bags by the door.
"Come on Bailey!" Cristy said as she pulled my arm and started dragging me around the living room, jumping from couch to couch.
We ran around the kitchen a couple of times, to the small office that was around the corner, to the enormous closer and back to the living room. We plopped down on the floor breathless. I began giggling and covered my face with my hands.
"What are you girls doing here?!"
The three of us sat up quickly as the new voices emerged from the top of the stair case. The three of us looked at each other for a while before turning our attention back to the two boys.
