38. "One and only"

Everyone went along with a new day since they didn't know about Jc and I. Cristy planned a nice afternoon, she set up enough chairs for everyone outside and somehow built a small fire.

I didn't come out of my room until they called me because it was time to 'bond'. I let out a big breath and plastered a smile on my lips as I walked down stairs.

"Great you're here, please take these outside" Cristy smiled as she handed me two plates with too much food to hold.

"Here let me help" Jc said as he grabbed a plate from my hand. I wanted to say something but by the time I gathered enough courage he was long gone.

I licked my lips and walked outside. The seats were perfectly set up, Jc sat on one side of the fire and I sat on the other. At the moment I wanted a little of distance between us.

"What is that? Decoration?" Kian asked Alice as she grabbed her guitar.

She let out a huff, "believe it or not, I've played the guitar my whole life" she said as she pushed him lightly.

"Sure you have" Kian chuckled.

"You just wait" Alice said as she sat next to me.

Cristy came out with three plates and handed them out to Kian and Alice.

"This looks amazing" Alice commented.

"From yours truly" Cristy said as she did a small bow.

We all thanked her and began eating.

I have to admit the fire felt really nice and the sun was just setting, making everything 10x better. I looked up from my plate and Jc stared at me from across the fire. He quickly looked away and scratched his chin, pretending he was looking at a pine tree.

"Oh please not now!" Cristy shouted as she pretended to gag.

I looked over at Kian who had his lips locked with Alice's. I rolled my eyes and let out a small giggle.

"We're eating" I said.

"Then don't look" Kian said as he pulled away.

"It's kind of hard when you guys are making out right there" I said as I put my hand up to my eyes.

"Haters!" Alice shouted as they pulled away. Thank god.

"What do you guys wanna do tomorrow?" Cristy asked.

I shrugged my shoulders and looked over at Alice and Kian.

"Maybe go for a drive into town?" Kian commented.

"What do you think Jc?" Alice asked.

He shrugged his shoulders, "sounds good"

"Sounds like a plan" Cristy smiled as she continued munching on her food.

We talked and ate for a while until there was no more food left on my plate.

"Here give me your plates and I'll take them" Cristy offered as she stood up. She struggled at first but got the hang of it. She dropped them off in the kitchen and quickly came back with two huge bottles.

"Oh no" Alice whimpered as she covered her eyes.

"Oh yes" Cristy giggled.

"Your plan to get wasted?" Kian chuckled, "because I'm fucking in" he snatched a bottle from her and began chugging.

I shook my head slightly as I stared at Alice she chugging it for a few seconds before pulling her lips away from the bottle. She offered me the bottle but I declined her offer. I crossed my legs as Kian put the bottle aside.
