Kian was running towards the bus with his arms waving in the air, screaming my name over and over until he finally caught my attention. I quickly got out of the bus and looked at him in surprise."K-Kian? What are you doing here!" I said as I looked back at the bus.
"bailey you can't go" he said as he breathed heavily.
"Kian this is best for me" I insisted as I looked back at Matt.
He stopped me by grabbing my arm, "we can figure something out, but you can't go" he said as he brushed off small drops of sweat from his forehead.
"How did you get here?" I asked as I backed away from him.
"With the car you left behind, now lets go" he said as he grabbed my wrist.
"K-Kian.. I don't want to leave. I want to go with Matt"
"Running away from your problems won't help, you have to face him" he let go of my arm, "you might think running away will solve everything but it won't, sooner or later you'll have to face Cristy or Jc, I know it won't be easy to get over what they did to you but I'll be there.. to help each step of the way" he said as he backed a step away from me, "if you wanna go then you should get on that bus and walk away from your problems but if you want to face them then come with me"
I looked at Kian and then back at Matt who was now out of the bus waiting on me. I looked at Kian with watery eyes and turned around and walked towards Matt.
"Is that Justin?" He asked as he began climbing back into the bus.
"No that's my friend" I said as I climbed the first step.
"You can tell me on the way there" he said.
I nodded my head in agreement and followed behind him after I gave my ticket to the bus driver. We sat down in our seats and fixed our backpacks on the ground. I looked out the window and Kian stood there just looking at me as we began driving away. I wiped away my tears quickly before Matt noticed but it was too late.
"It's okay. You should go back" he said as he grabbed my shoulder.
"What?" I asked as I turned to look at him.
"Stop the bus and go back" he said as he picked my backpack from the floor and handed it to me.
"Matt-"
"Face Justin and Show him how strong you actually are" he smiled as he gave me a big hug. I hugged him back tightly and stood up from my seat.
"Stop the bus! Please!" The bus driver hit the breaks hard, making some people crash with the seat in front of them.
Before I got out of my seat Matt grabbed my wrist, "you're the best friend I've ever had" he smiled.
"You'll always remember me?" I chuckled as my eyes got glossy again.
"Of course" he said as he blinked away the tears that formed in his eyes. I hugged him tightly for a few second before letting go.
"Goodbye Matt" I said.
"Goodbye Bailey"
I gave him one last glance and walked down the aile, "I wish to get out" I said.
