I drove into town and parked in an empty parking lot that belonged to a restaurant. All the lights were off and everything was dark the only thing that could be seen was the dim street lights that barley lit anything up. I began banging on the steering wheel while crying my eyes out.I don't even know why I'm crying so much over that jerk. If he said he liked me so much why would he hurt me like this. I don't know how he wanted me to let him know I liked him. I laughed with him, I spend time with him and I opened up to him, how much more obvious did he want me to be?
And to sleep with Cristy! What a joke! He slept with her to get back at me? Anyone can get in her pants, they don't even have to beg.
"Bailey stop!" I yelled as I gripped my hair.
The more I think about this the angrier I get and I don't need to burst out again. I wiped my eyes and turned the car back on. I need to find somewhere to sleep, I brought all the money I had on me when I came here so it's enough. I began driving through the lonely streets until I found a big sign with big red letters that read 'Motel'. I parked in a parking space and grabbed my backpack from the passengers seat.
I locked my car and began walking to the entrance. This town sure is scary but somehow it's kind of peaceful at the same time. I entered the small office and rang the bell that was on the counter. Soon enough an old lady walked closer to me her heels clicking against the wooden tiles.
"Hi, need a room?"
"Uh.. yeah" i said a bit distracted.
"How many nights are you planning to spend here at our motel?" She asked kindly, her voice was so perky and high, I hated it right now.
"I-I'm not sure but... yeah I'm not sure" i said as I began pulling out the money.
She nodded her head as if understanding what I was going through, "well sweetheart it's fifty dollars per night"
I nodded my head, "that's fine" I said as I handed her the money, "do you sell any toothbrushes?"
She reached under the counter and handed me a new toothbrush, "they'll be toothpaste in your bathroom" she said with a warm smile, it almost made me feel welcomed.
"Thank you Malory" I read her name off her name tag. I don't know why she would wear one if she worked at a motel.
"You're room is 27" she said as she handed me the key.
I smiled one last time before walking out of the office. I walked down the rooms quickly, ready to just go to sleep and face another unbearable day.
I struggled a bit to open the door but I finally managed and open it. I dropped my backpack on the floor and began looking through it. Great I forgot my phone, I don't think I'll need it anyway.
I brushed my teeth and washed my face quickly before I slipped into a pair of pajamas. I grabbed my keychain that was in my backpack and laid myself on the bed. I looked at the celling and messed around with the keychain.
Whatever I did an hour ago, Screaming at them , driving away, then coming here and getting my own room was one of the greatest things I've ever done! I've never done such a thing! It was such a rush and for the first time I got my first taste at being an adult. I went from feeling angry to feeling amazing. I felt so amazing right now, I wanted to cry but not for that jerk but from happiness.
Im not ready for the real world, I don't know how to survive on my own but this was just a little taste and I'm loving it so far. I'll take one step at a time, not skipping any steps. That's the key to surviving in the real world.

I woke up the next morning and stretched out, feeling like a new person. I woke up with a slight headache but I was in a really good mood that it didn't even both me. I changed into an orange romper and brushed my teeth. I grabbed my motel key and walked out. Forget about the car I'll walk for today. I began looking around my surroundings and everything was very old fashion, it was perfect.
I practically skipped my way into a small cafe. Once I opened the doors someone bumped into me.
"I'm sorry" the person said as they looked down at me.
I looked up at him and smiled slightly, "it's okay, don't worry about it"
I gave him a bigger smile as I walked towards a lady that waited for me with a friendly smile. He shinned his pearly white teeth and waved me off.
"Hi, table for one please" I smiled at the lady.
"Right this way ma'am" she said as she grabbed a menu from under the counter.
As I walked down the aisles of the tables men made slight comments at me and some even whistled. I've never gotten attention like that before, it was a strange feeling. I didn't know if I should answer back or not, this has never happened to me before so being the dumb butt that I was I answered back.
"Um.. right back at you" I said nervously.
I could hear a few low chuckles. I bet I embarrassed myself. The lady sat me down and handed me the menu.
Overall the embarrassing moment and bumping into a stranger that wasn't bad looking, breakfast was amazing, the service was also great and I've never had pancakes with so much syrup before and with whip cream. If mother would have seen me I would be dead. I also had coffee for the first time and I'm practically jumping up and down like crazy.
I skipped through the rest of the town, jumping from one side to the other. I bet I looked crazy but I didn't care I felt happy. Once in a while I would get small pebbles int my sandals and it hurt so much. I decided to sit on the side of the curb for a while and pick the pebbles out of my sandal.
"It's the cafe girl" a unrecognizable voice said.
I looked up at him once again and smiled, "it's the cafe boy"
