At the hospital they took forever to attend me and it just needed a few stitches, nothing major. We left the hospital around 7 in the morning, such a long time. On the way back to the cabin we made a small stop just to check on the things we missed on our phones.I immediately called my mother. It ringed a few times before she answered.
"Hello?"
"Hi" I said as I walked into a small shop to get away for a while.
"I'm very busy Bailey so make this quick" I could tell she was in the hospital since people greeted her with the 'Dr. Phoenix'.
"O-oh um.. well I just wanted to let you know that I'm fine and we don't have signal out in the cabin so no phones, that's pretty cool I guess"
"What have I told you about using words like 'cool'?" She questioned angrily.
"I'm sorry mother.. it won't happen again"
"It better not Bailey, I raised you better than to say such words. Where's Tyler?"
"Yeah.. um he actually left a few hours ago he should be in Seattle soon"
"A few hours ago? Why was that?"
"We thought it would be best if we saw each other when I got back so the moment could be ever more special" I said as I grabbed a small keychain of the moon. The moon was a yellow color with small sparkles on the side.
"That doesn't sound like a bad idea. Well anyway I must go, I have a lot of patients to attend today. Goodbye" she hanged up without letting me say my goodbyes.
I shoved my phone back into my pocket and looked down at the keychain. I didn't have any money on me so I couldn't buy it, I sadly put it back and began walking out the shop when I was stopped.
"Take it" the old man at the cashier said.
"I can't. I don't have any money on me at the moment" I said as I closed the door.
"Just take it. I see the way you looked at it, you must really have a thing with the moon" he chuckled as he ruffled his white beard.
"Are you sure? Wouldn't the owner get mad?"
"I am the owner" he grinned.
I grabbed the keychain and thanked him several times before walking out. I walked back to the car and got inside. I waited for a few minutes until they were ready to drive back to the cabin.
This town was very old fashion, it had like this Texas and cowboy vibe. The building were old and made out of wood.
"Are you okay?" Kian asked from the passengers seat.
"Yes" I simply say.
"Are you sure?" Alice asked.
"Yes" I said a bit more harsh.
"We're very sorry.." Cristy said.
I shrugged my shoulders not knowing what to say or do.
The rest of the car ride was awkward but somehow we all managed to get through it without any arguments.
"Let me help you down" Cristy said as she grabbed my arm.
"It was just a small cut, I can handle getting out of the car" I snapped as I jumped off.
