I sat outside, eating the sandwich Jc made me. This was actually really good, i don't know what was inside it. One thing that always bummed me out was the fact that my parents never let me eat any street food or anything that I guess you can call 'fast food'. I have never eaten a burger or a hot dog not even fries. Yes I've always wanted to try one but with my parents breathing down my neck, it was impossible.

The door opened behind me but I didn't bother turning around it was obviously Alice.

"Alice I'll talk to her later but for now leave me alone"

"Not Alice" Jc sat next to me and gave me a comforting smile, "how you holding up?"

"I'm fine"

"Probably the only thing I know about girls is that when they say they're fine, they're really not"

I didn't want to talk about me, so I changed the topic, "what does Jc Stand for?" I've never watched any of his videos so I'm not sure what his actual name is.

"The J is for Justin and the C is for Caylen" the name has a good ring to it.

"My turn. What's your full name?"

"Bailey Marie Phoenix"

He took a piece from my sandwich and shoved it in his mouth. This is the best sandwich I've ever had in my life, I don't know what it is about it that makes it so delicious.

"I make pretty good sandwiches huh?"

I nodded my head and covered my mouth as I smiled.

"Do you want to get married?" I hate that question more than anything.

"Yes" I simply say.

"Shouldn't you have a ring or something?" He sure does ask a whole bunch of questions.

"I left it at home, so I wouldn't loose it"

His lips formed a straight line and in the weirdest voice he said, "awesome" I couldn't help but begin to laugh at his silliness.

"What was that?" I giggled.

"Me being fucking stupid" he said as he stood back up and pulled me onto my feet. "Ready?" He asked as his hand reached for the door nob.

"Yeah"

My name was immediately called out, "Bailey, let's talk"

"Cristy if you're going to judge my future marriage then don't" I sighed as I shut my eyes.

"I wanted to apologize, I shouldn't have said those mean things. I just want your happiness" I looked back at her and furrowed my eyebrows, did she really just apologize?

"Um.. yeah me too. I'm sorry for judging you. You know I love Emie"

She gave me a big hug without warning and I wrapped my arms around her tiny frame. What would I do without them? I would probably not even be here.

"Jc, Kian was looking for you, something about filming a video" Cristy said.

"Thanks. I'll see you later" he smiled as he walked away from us.

"He's cute, don't you think?"

I pushed her away playfully and we both walked over to Alice who was sitting in the living room.

-

We laid on the bed as our heads dangled over the edge. It's been a week and we can't seem to do anything fun, there's nothing to do.

"Okay girls get up! Let's go!" Kian and Jc said as they burst into our room.

"Why?" Cristy asked as she sat up and began slipping on her shoes.

"It's a surprise" Kian said.

I grabbed my shoes and fixed my shorts once I stood up, "are we going outside?"

"Of course we are"

It's 1,000 degrees out there. It's too hot to even go outside.

We followed Kian and Jc like the three blind mice. Kian grabbed his camera that was waiting at the door.

"Let's take this time to talk" Jc started.

"You girls don't really like us, especially Cristy and Alice" Kian said with a fake smile.

"What is there to like?" Cristy chuckled.

"Haha very funny. This summer vacation will be so much better if we all got along, Jc and I know that, now it's time for you girls to admit it" Kian doesn't look like the sharpest tool in the box but he's onto something.

"Maybe he's right. Since we got here all we're doing is laying in bed while we look at the ceiling like dumbasses. Probably these fuckers are onto something and we end up liking their company" Cristy said. I can never get used to her profanity.

"I'm down" Alice commented.

"I'm fine with it" I smiled.

"Well okay then it's a done deal. We're all friends now" Kian said awkwardly.

We walked through the forest and across rocky parts and we seemed to get nowhere. All this walking had me panting and wishing I had a water bottle.

"Holly shit!" Kian yells from behind a few bushes, where he was going for a bathroom break.

We all ran to him and once we passed those bushes we found it.. paradise.

A beautiful lake where the water is crystal clear and the butterflies fly through the air while spinning, and the birds chirp a catchy tune. The smell of fresh water and summer filled my nose. The rock we were standing on was a cliff and it's perfect to just off of. Like I said, paradise.
