Everything was so amazing that I could hardly concentrate.

"Come on Bailey!" Cristy squealed.

I looked at the group and they were taking off their clothes. At first I was confused but then I added it all up, sunny day+beautiful lake=Half-
Naked young adults.

"N-no I'm actually okay, thank you though" I said politely as I backed away from the edge.

"Stop being a boring old granny" Alice frowned.

"Don't tell me you can't swim" Kian chuckled as he slipped off his shirt.

I turned away embarrassed.

"You can't swim?" Jc questioned as he noticed me turn around.

"Oh I forgot about that" Cristy mumbled.

"Not trying to be stereotypical but don't rich people do a lot of swimming?" Kian asked.

"I've played polo, golf, and tennis but I've never taken a swim class in my life" I covered my cheeks so they wouldn't see how red I was. "You guys go ahead. I'll be fine up here"

"Are you sure?" Alice questioned.

I gave her a simple head nod.

Cristy looked over at Alice and back down at the lake. Huge smiles spread across their faces as they held hands and jumped into the water.

"My turn" Kian smirked as he jumped in.

I looked over at Jc and he was just standing there hesitating to jump.

"Go on"

"I won't let you miss out on the fun"

"I'll be fine" I say as I gave him a light push.

"Come on, we're jumping in. Hop onto my back" he said as he crouched down in front of me.

"Jc I'm too heavy, and I still have my clothes on"

"Undress like Cristy and Alice" Jc said.

I scratched the side of my head and looked away and covered my stomach with my hand.

He quickly noticed about my insecurity and grabbed his shirt from the ground and gave it to me, "now change, and let's have fun"

He turned around so I could undress. I quickly took off my clothes and slipped his shirt on. I tied my hair in a bun and cleared my throat to let him know I was finished.

He crouched in front of me and I hesitated at first but eventually jumped onto his back. I wrapped my arms around his neck and held onto him tight.

"Ready?" He asked with a wide smile on his face.

"Yes" I smiled.

For the first time I can smile with no problem. I smile freely at the trees and somehow they smile back, I smile at the birds and they chirp in return, I smile at the wild flowers that make a beautiful meadow in the distance and they dance around in the air, for the first time I can smile and actually be happy. Sometimes you have to take a risk and just jump. That's exactly what Jc did, he jumped off. My heart pounding against the walls of my chest, telling me to stop it because it didn't feel safe but my body had a different reaction, my yells of excitement and happiness filled the air as the rest of the group cheered and laughed. Then comes the impact, in my case the water. The cold water was perfect for this weather and it just seemed to cleanse me. It's like this wave of relief and proudness that sweeps all through your body. You took your risk and at the end it was all worth it.
