Chapter 10:
I locked myself again. Selena and my dad had left now.
I took out my English book because I needed something which reminded me of him. I hugged the book and smiled like a freak.
*Knock Knock*
The book slipped out of my hands and landed on the floor.
"What is it now?!"
"Oi! Pipe down missy! Mum's calling you down for tea." Jonnie's loud voice crashed into my ears.
Urg! I kneeled down to collect my precious poetry book. There was a little blue card as well. I picked it up and read it out. It was his writing.
If you ever need extra help then here is my number. Ring me up anytime because I also do tuition after school for those who need the help. Mr Malik.
I re read the card at least 5 more times to make sure I wasn't hallucinating. I wasn't. This was real! Zayn must have put it inside my book when he was helping me in English today! How romantic! I danced my way down the stairs into the kitchen.
"Mum! I need to tell you something."
"What is it?"
"Probably failed in something." Jonnie butted in, stuffing his face with chips whilst doing so.
"Yeah actually. I mean I will fail if I don't do something about it soon."
"What do you mean Perrie?" mum asked looking quizzed.
"I find English really really difficult here..." I lied.
"But English is your best subject."
"I know mum but here it's different. More advanced you know and my English teacher holds special tuitions for those who are finding it difficult. So could I...?" I pleaded.
"Well of course you should! But I am shocked to hear you struggle in English!"
"Is that a yes?"
"Yes yes. The harder you work, the better grades you'll get." she smiled.
My heart leaped and danced with epitome joy! This was going to be fun. I took a chip out of Jonnie's plate and popped it into my mouth, smiling a huge smile.
