Chapter 17:
"Yes mum I am already down his house and no I will not be going on Friday okay." I told my mum through the phone for the hundredth time today.
"Okay bye then, I'll be there by 8." she said before ending the conversation. I got back to watching Braveheart with Zayn snuggled up beside me, trials of butter popcorn smeared all over the the floor, his hands grasped around my hips, my head resting on his shoulder, it was a blissful time where we were genuinely ourselves. This moments were treasured in my mind. Just us two. Zayn's lips began working themselves, leaving a pattern of soft kisses from my neck, freeing the butterflies in my tummy again and again and again. I tore away to the other end of the white sofa, curious to see what he does next. Disappointment circles me when he rubs his mouth with his fingers, darting his attention back to the huge screen in front. I get up on my knee and head back to him, tilting his head to shift his focus back on me but Zayn shifts back to the TV. Was he upset?
"Zayn look at me." I put my hand on his cheeks, forcing them to turn towards me.
"You're not the only one who can play hard to get" he chuckled at the astonishment on my face. How can he always tell with me? He nailed me down on the sofa with his hands, leaping in to kiss my neck vigorously and continuously, moving from my neck to my collar bone and back up again. My eyes were shut, absorbing the whole whirl of this sensational feeling. His hands traveled up my top to my bra -
There was a knock at the door, breaking us apart abruptly and at the same time saving me from having to stop him myself because I wasn't ready for anything further than that yet.
"Oh crap! What if it's my mum? She likes to pop in without a warning." Zayn said worriedly. Oh crap indeed! I didn't want to encounter her again, it was pretty clear she despised me.
"Shall I hide?"
"What no! You er you just sort yourself out because you're all scarlet." I reddened even deeper.
"How am I supposed to fix that?"
"I don't know but do something about it otherwise our secret is definitely out."
Zayn jogged out the living room to open the main door. I scurried through my bag, digging in to get my English book and pens out but I couldn't find it. My hands clawed through the bag faster as I heard footsteps get closer. Once I got hold of a book and some pens, I laid them out on the sofa and table so it looked as if we were really doing some college work. I swept the popcorn behind the sofa with my feet and switched the TV off, sitting back down after I was satisfied with everything, letting out a deep sigh of relief at last.
"You have company?" I heard a deep, sweet voice question Zayn.
"Er yeah. She's my student. I am giving her tuition."
"Since when did you start giving tuition?" another voice said, a younger one this time.
"Since -
"Oh! I completely forgot about Hatchi at the shop!" the younger one shrieked.
"You idiot!" Zayn shouted.
"We have to go now! Zayn drop me please, I am not taking a taxi again!"
"I can't. I have someone over."
"Don't worry about that, I'll keep her company."
...
"Don't give me that look boy. Your grandma hasn't aged that old yet. I'll entertain her with my stories whilst your gone."
Oh it was his grandma! Phew! But what if she too is like his mum?
"Grandma no!"
"Please! It'll only take a couple of minutes!" the other one begged. I heard more footsteps, going further away this time. Oh no! Zayn was leaving me alone! The front door banged shut. He was gone! What the hell!
