Chapter 48:
One year went by and Zayn had left One Direction for good so he could finally be with Perrie but no-one really knew why he did this. Perrie on the other hand, had followed the same footsteps as Zayn and became a very well known and famous singer.
Perrie's POV:
"Perrie!"
Thousands of screaming girls and boys waved papers and posters in the air, l tried my best to put my signatures on all the papers and even take some pictures. My manager signalled me to move along though so I did. Just then, somebody grabbed my wrist. I looked to see who it was but there were so many people standing altogether that I didn't have any chance. Then my eyes fell on the silver band. The same - I gasped. I hadn't seen him in a long time. I moved my head to the massive clump of people and searched for him. Out of nowhere, Zayn emerged from the crowd, still clutching my hand and pulled me towards the building where my interview was supposed to take place.
Instantly, my body guards came to my aid and forced him off.
"Don't!" I let out. I didn't like seeing him being handled like that. I let Zayn come in to my dressing room. I know I shouldn't even talk to him but I hadn't seen him in ages. I pretended to put some eye liner on to avoid contact with him. Zayn stopped me and turned me around until we were only an inch apart. Already I could feel my heart beats double as he leaned in and I was doing nothing to stop it. No! I couldn't let him get to me again. Why should he always get what he wanted. Leave me whenever he felt like it and come back whenever he felt like it. Why should I let him play with me like that.
I tilted my head sideways, causing him to step back in slight shock. I could feel the pain I had just caused him. He deserved every bit of it.
"I want to be with you." Zayn said. Ordered more like.
"Why now?"
"I made up my mind. We will be together forever.", he answered, not meeting my eyes even once.
"You made up your mind? You think your mind is so important don't you? When I had my mind made up all those times ago, I didn't see you giving importance to them."
"I always gave importance to you."
"Is that why I was turned down two times."
"I made a mistake Perrie."
I couldn't help but laugh hysterically. "Mistake"? Is that what he called it?
"People make mistakes once Zayn. Not twice."
There was a knock on the door. "Miss Edwards! Time for your slot!"
"You should go now." I told him.
"I want to be with you."
"But I don't. Besides, I have a career now."
"You won't have a career if I tell..."
"If you tell what Zayn? That I dated my teacher? Do you want to create a bad image for me?"
Zayn gave an angry shot. "Do you think I would do that!"
"Then what else? I didn't do anything when you refused me twice but now when the tables have turned, you want to play dirty games."
"The old Perrie would never talk like this to me."
"The old Perrie didn't have the guts. You see she wasn't as rich like you back then and she only loved one man who had all his students and fans doting on him. But now, I not only have the money but I have millions of people who love me too. That Perrie had nothing compared to you but now I do."
Zayn pushed me against the door and looked directly into my eyes.
"Then why are you still crying Perrie?"
"Because of you. All you've ever done is make me cry."
Zayn smacked his lips with mines and locked my hands with his before I could protest. I lost the battle to fight back as I knew I would and kissed him back, more harder and with more passion then ever before. I had missed him so much! We parted to catch breath. Zayn wanted more but I quickly put my hand between our lips before I lost myself again.
"Zayn..."
"You really have changed Perrie."
Suddenly he snatched my left hand and forced the ring out.
"Ouch!" I screamed when the emptiness of the ring ripped the healed wound once again. He had no right to do that!
"Zayn give it back!"
"It's not yours any more."
