Chapter 13:
Zayn led me to a black Bentley Continental GT. Oh my! It was beautiful. But I couldn't even admire the beautiful black baby right now because of what had happened with Zayn, the slightest reminder of it had me muddled up in a huge messy mud. Only this time, this mud felt like a beautiful, peaceful ocean because although what had happened was downright wrong, I couldn't deny that every moment of our kiss felt heavenly and just right. On top of all this, his mum made me feel like a criminal. I was a criminal though. Technically speaking... What had I got myself into!
"Perrie!" Zayn's voice crashed into my ears, taking me out of my thoughts. I looked at him. He was standing opposite me, outside his driver's seat, staring at me in disbelief. I realised I was standing next to the passengers seat, just standing and not doing anything else like a lost soul.
I opened the front door, then shut it quickly. I shouldn't sit next to him. It was not right. I opened the rear doors instead and sat down inside the car. Zayn's face turned around in surprise and in hurt at me. I couldn't look at him so I turned my face away from him, tears springing my eyes gradually. He was hurt because of me.
"Perrie?" I didn't reply. I couldn't. Had no courage or words left in me.
"Perrie please speak up." I kept staring outside, roads and streets blurring past me as he increased the speed.
"Perrie please!" the pain in his beautiful voice was too much. I couldn't bear it and yet I couldn't answer him either. This whole thing as much as I wanted it, was wrong and I didn't want to put him in trouble.
"At least tell me where you live then." Oh right. He didn't know my address. How was I going to answer him now! Suddenly the car stopped.
"Perrie! Come sit here right now!" his voice went dead serious, it was the first time I had seen him angry. He was angry at me. More tears spilled down my eyes. This day just kept getting worse. I didn't move. I heard the car door slam shut and in matter of seconds, he was next to my car door. Zayn opened it.
"Perrie come out now." the seriousness of his voice was still there and I didn't dare disobey him but I couldn't move. I just couldn't for some reason. Then he grabbed me and picked me up the bridal style and seated me on the front seat of the car. He got back to his seat and sighed. I felt his eyes on me and then he leaned in to my surprise to put my seat belt on. His face was inches away from mines and I tried my best to move further away but it was no use. I closed my eyes but I could still feel his warm breath on me, his lips close to mines. And then the car started running again.
"Will you at least tell my your address?"
"Number 4, Starling street."
Zayn started speeding again. I didn't like it, it was too fast and I felt my head spin. I put my fingers on my temples to make things better. No use. The car stopped again.
"Perrie? You alright?" I nodded.
"Perrie look at me!" I obeyed this time. My eyes were on his knees because I couldn't look up. He lifted my chin up with his hands, forcing me to look directly into those eyes of his.
"Perrie..." I took away his hand and directed my focus the other way.
"Look I know what happened was... not acceptable. But..."
"But nothing Zayn. There is no buts." I finally found my voice.
"No Perrie there is and you know it. I know you do. You can't tell me that was nothing."
"It wasn't." I lied.
"You're a bad liar."
"I am not lying Zayn!"
"Then look at me and say it. Then I'll believe you." his hands turned my face to his and locked his eyes into mines.
"It was -
"Go on say it..." tears spilled my eyes once more. He knew he was right. That kiss was everything.
"Zayn" I started crying.
"Shush.." he pressed his fingers to my lips. He took the seat belts off and embraced me into a tight hug. We stayed like that for a while.
"Your house is outside by the way."
I pulled out of the hug and went to open the car door but he took my hand, pulling me in his direction. He let go soon. Before I could think, I turned around and crashed my lips into his. We kissed passionately for a long time, neither of us wanting the glorious sensation to stop. At some time, we both pulled away to breath air. I was breathing like there was no air. After I found my pace again, I slid out the car and went to my house. I unlocked it and stepped in, waving him goodbye before closing the door. Zayn waved back and then disappeared in a blink of an eye.
